Tealissio got off the mark in good style at Leicester last month and although his penalty makes life tougher, he can go well once more. Recent Fontwell winner Whipcrackaway is also respected along with Chain Reactor and Pine Creek, who is making his hurdling debut for John Ferguson. Lord Of The House must also be considered but IF IN DOUBT gets the nod. His debut effort in a Bangor bumper was very encouraging and a bold bid can be expected making his hurdling debut.

Talkonthestreet finished runner-up on his chasing debut at Exeter but he was well beaten and did not look a natural chaser. Nonetheless, he is entitled to improve for that and can play a leading role. Western King and The Musical Guy are both considered on their respective chasing debuts but GODSMEJUDGE gets a tentative vote. He finished well beaten in a competitive handicap at Newbury last time but he had previously shaped very nicely on his chasing debut at Stratford and that form would give him a big chance today.

Shernando, a capable flat performer for Mark Johnston, has shown enough in his three runs over hurdles to suggest he can pay his way in this sphere but TIDAL DANCE is narrowly preferred today. He showed plenty of promise in his two runs in bumpers and his hurdling debut effort at Wincanton was very encouraging. With further improvement likely, he could prove a tough nut to crack. Hand On Bach could fare best of the others.

Flowerbud has solid claims on the form of her C&D second to Rouge Et Blanc last time and Lajidaal must be respected despite his lack of a recent run. Quapriland is very interesting on his first run for Nigel Twiston-Davies and any confidence behind him would be a big positive. However, a chance is taken on SAWAGO. His recent efforts have hardly been inspiring but he is now back on the same mark as when running out a facile winner at Fontwell on Boxing Day last year.

SULPIUS carries a 7lb penalty for his 2m4f Fontwell success last week but he did win with a bit in hand there and appears to have been found a decent opportunity to follow up. Witch's Hat made all to score at Leicester earlier this month and a 5lb rise is unlikely to stop him from giving a good account here. For Sahkey Moony and Doheny Bar are worth monitoring in the market.

Stravita would have finished runner-up at Hereford last time, had the leader not fallen at the last flight, and an 8lb rise makes life tougher. Nicene Creed has not been with Sophie Leech long and he makes some appeal off a potentially nice handicap mark but CANAZTA is an interesting contender on his first foray into handicap company. He did not show a great deal in three starts over hurdles last season but he could fare much better now handicapping off a mark of just 81.

Sea Cadet has not won for over three years but he is nicely handicapped on his best form and the booking of McCoy suggests connections mean business here. Jasperito has failed to complete on his two previous outings over fences but he is unexposed and should not be ignored. LANDENSTOWN STAR has been knocking on the door of late and a reproduction of his Hereford second last time would probably make him the one to beat.
