BLAIRS COVE has the best form in the book by a mile having won here over 2m3f in May and finished second on his debut in April to the useful William Henry at Cheltenham. The son of Presenting appears to have more to offer and can make a winning return after a four-month absence. Cap Du Nord is a half-brother to Cheltenham Festival winner Qualando and is respected on his hurdling debut for Christian Williams, while Sword Of Fate won a bumper in the spring at Exeter and is open to improvement going hurdling.

It's hard to look beyond BLAIRS COVE, who made a promising start over hurdles for Dan Skelton during the spring and he should take this prior to going on to bigger things. Sword of Fate did the job well when landing an Exeter bumper and is of interest, but Lexington Law has already shown ability in this sphere and is marginally preferred for forecast purposes.
