He has to be respected but both his wins have come over 7f so there is an argument that he may prove vulnerable here. Preference, therefore, goes to RECKLESS LAD as he has won two of his last three starts and may have more to come. Others to consider include the class-dropping Another Story and Red Avenger.
It could be worth chancing AUSSIE VALENTINE, who goes well fresh and has slipped to a career-low mark starting out for this yard. Last-time-out winners Jon Ess and Reckless Lad head the dangers.
