Aidan O'Brien unleashes two well-bred newcomers in Gustav Klimt and Somerset Maugham, with the former appearing to be the stable first choice based on jockey bookings. While they make plenty of appeal, the preference is for BRICK BY BRICK, who was only denied by half a length on his debut at Navan last month. The third from that event has won since while the fourth and fifth have run well in defeat subsequently.
Aidan O'Brien may again saddle the winner of this maiden courtesy of GUSTAV KLIMIT, who is bred to be very smart indeed and, needless to say, it'll be an ominous sign if the market speaks in his favour. Stablemate Somerset Maugham is also one to note in the betting but Gustav Klimt may have most to fear from Brick By Brick and Commander Grigio, both of whom shaped well on their respective debuts.
