7fGood to Firm (Watered)
After a busy day at Royal Ascot it is interesting that William Buick comes here to steer PANOVA for Sir Michael Stoute. The Cheveley Park filly tuned up for this with a second at Goodwood and is entitled to improve now cutting back to seven furlongs. Angel Of Darkness has been a winner on both the Sussex Downs and Lingfield Polytrack this term and must be considered, while Carolinae was a dual all-weather scorer earlier this year and has claims if repeating that form.
PANOVA shaped really well when runner-up in a 3-y-o 1m handicap at Goodwood a month ago, and given how she travelled through that race, the drop to 7f shouldn't pose a problem. She is taken to prove herself a well-treated filly, likely at the main expense of Angel of Darkness and Carolinae.
