Jamie Snowden has his string in fine form and LUNAR FLOW is taken to benefit from the drop back down in distance having looked a blatant non-stayer over 3m6f at Exeter last month. His form around this trip before that had been very solid and he is back on the same mark when finishing third at Warwick in November. Bacchanel is better than what he showed last time at Chepstow, while Dick Darsie is respected on his C&D success last month.
It was probably a case of a bad day at the office for LUNAR FLOW at Exeter where, fitted with first-time cheekpieces and upped to a marathon trip, he was never in the hunt. The 7-y-o was in good form prior to that and, back down in trip with blinkers refitted, he could be the answer. Dick Darsie appears to be going the right way judged on his C&D victory and is next best ahead of Bassarabad.
