Vallarta took advantage of a falling mark when successful over C&D last time but is up 3lb here, while Alfie's Angel has struggled since being reassessed for a victory at Thirsk last month. Khelman is not renowned for consistency but will surely capitalise on the handicapper's increasing leniency soon, but preference is for SIR DOMINO, who was half a length behind Vallarta last time but reopposes on 2lb better terms here.
Several of these contested a C&D handicap 11 days ago, and while ALFIE'S ANGEL was behind Vallarta, Sir Domino and Rockley Point on that occasions, he is taken to emerge on top this time. Karen Tutty's charge meets the winner Vallarta on 4 lb better terms now. Khelman is none too reliable, but hit the crossbar off 1 lb higher at Thirsk last month and will be a real threat if reproducing that form.
