Cartwright was deemed good enough to run in a Grade 1 over hurdles at Punchestown last time and deserves serious consideration having his first run on the Flat for Gordon Elliott, although this drop in trip on fast ground might not be ideal for the five-year-old. Song Of Namibia doesn't have the greatest career strike-rate, and perhaps SHEBERGHAN is the best option. He was unlucky to bump into one on his handicap debut last time and makes more appeal than fellow three-year-old Night Of Power.
All four make some appeal but SHEBERGHAN is the one with untapped potential and gets the vote after a good run in a useful 3-y-o handicap at Down Royal. Useful hurdler Cartwright could be the one for the forecast on his return to the Flat.
