TOOSEY is hard to ignore having been in fine form since joining Gavin Cromwell in the summer. He was only a neck away from scoring at Thurles and is just 5lb higher than when successful over fences at Ayr the time before. The Trigger is another visitor from across the Irish Sea to consider and it is interesting that Brian Hughes is booked having been aboard when scoring on a raiding mission to Perth in June. Cahill bumped into a well-handicapped rival at Exeter and is respected, while C&D winner Nemean Lion has to be noted following his Sedgefield success.
TOOSEY continues to go the right way for Gavin Cromwell, and with these obstacles sure to suit this dual-chase winner, he looks the way to go. Western Wave shaped well last time and is second choice, with Cahill completing the shortlist.
