BOSTON DE LA ROCHE (FR)

Bay Gelding; Malinas - Quesland de la Roche (Arnaqueur)

Boston De La Roche won two AQPS bumpers in France from four starts when trained by Alain Couetil. David Loder bought him in July 2015 for a the very reasonable price of £40,000 and he liked him so much that he stayed in for 10%.

He is a bay gelding by the exciting young National Hunt sire Malinas who has produced stakes winners over jumps in Great Britain, Ireland and France, including Cheltenham Festival winner Medinas. He is an attractive, quality looking individual who has a wonderful athletic way of going.

Boston De La Roche's career in France spanned four races, all in bumpers; 4th on his debut at Le Mans in November 2014, he then won at Seiches-Sur-Le-Loir in February 2015 and at Le Lion-d'Angers the following April. His final start came at Angers in May 2015, where he led early in the straight before being headed only in the last half-furlong; the winner went on to win two further races as well as being placed on the Flat at Longchamp whilst the second horse also won his next two starts.
