Landed a bumper and novice hurdle on first 2 starts last term. Improved when close second on chase bow at Warwick but failed to build on that next time. Worth another chance.

Won 2 of his last 3 starts over hurdles. Ran to just a modest level on previous attempt over fences last summer but should improve on that.

Verdict

MOLLY CHILDERS was a consistent mare last season over hurdles and looks ideally suited to the demands of chasing for Stuart Edmunds. It would be no surprise to see the six-year-old thrive in this sphere and she can make a winning debut over the larger obstacles. Eshtiaal wasn't at his best last season but doesn't have many miles on the clock, while Dandy Dan has put in a couple of promising efforts over fences and has some nice overall form.

Verdict

ESHTIAAL made a discouraging start to his chasing career earlier this season but he was the best of these over hurdles and his yard is in much better form now. Molly Childers looks the type who will continue her progress now chasing and is feared most.
