Verdict

SENOR LOMBARDY struck between the flags in the spring and landed a Hexham bumper when last sighted last month. Keith Dalgleish's four-year-old is expected to give a good account on his hurdles bow as he's in receipt of 7lb from penalised course (2m5f) scorer Coole Hall. Manitowoc County was outpaced over 2m3f at Carlisle and could improve for this step up in trip, likewise Flemens Story, a point winner who made his Rules debut over 2m here two weeks ago.

Verdict

SENOR LOMBARDY won a bumper at Hexham in fine style last month and looks a good sort for hurdling. He's taken to make a successful start in this sphere at the chief expense of the penalised Coole Hall. Flemens Story is a likely improver to keep an eye on.
