Going the right way over fences this summer, scoring at Stratford/Perth (2m). Even better form when runner-up at Worcester next 2 starts and the one to beat on these terms.

Verdict

Dolos rattled the crossbar at Ayr when last sighted and commands respect on these terms. He does have a 174-day absence to overcome, however, so it may be worth siding with Dan Skelton inmate ONE FOR BILLY, who lost little in defeat in a novice chase at Worcester last month and has the potential advantage of a recent outing to his name. JLT third Benatar has gone well fresh in the past so is another to consider on his seasonal bow.

Verdict

A good quality event and the progressive ONE FOR BILLY is the one who looks favoured by the weights. All of his rivals are returning from a lay-off, with Dolos and Rocklander feared most.
