Bumper winner for Keith Dalgleish but it hasn't clicked for her over hurdles yet for this yard.

Verdict

PINEAPPLE RUSH is unbeaten in two starts over hurdles so far and looks very interesting now with her attentions switched to handicap company for the first time. She has proven back class having placed in a Listed bumper on debut at Cheltenham and a sounder surface should prove to be no issue. Cabaret Queen is respected dropping back down in distance, while Kupatana and Lucca Lady look best of the remainder.

Verdict

PINEAPPLE RUSH maintained her unbeaten record in novice company at Hexham last month, and from a very fair opening mark, the hat-trick could well be forthcoming. Lucca Lady is going the right way, while Kupatana may be capable of better, too.

Eased in weights and bounced back to best to kick off summer campaign in style at Ayr (20.5f) 11 days ago. Hasn't always found a great deal off the bridle, yet she's clearly respected under a penalty.

Verdict

PETROU ran really well on his latest outing when fourth in a competitive handicap at Ayr and the drop back in trip looks to be in his favour along with the fact he runs off the exact same mark here. Martiloo was a very easy winner on his most recent start at Ayr having shown promise last season in decent races and he is entitled to go very well under the penalty, while Indian Temple ran a fantastic race to finish seventh in the Topham here last month and is back on his last winning mark.

Verdict

PETROU stepped up on his effort in a Kempton Grade 2 and shaped well to boot in fourth at Ayr last month, some less-than-fluent jumping rather hindering his finishing effort. This sort of mark looks within reach on that evidence and he can play a leading role provided he jumps more fluently. Facile Kelso scorer Martiloo is an obvious danger though, while Deauville Dancer can also feature.

Made most of good opportunity when supplementing Goodwood Flat victory over timber at Uttoxeter (20f) in September. Never a threat final 2 starts in 2017 but returns for an in-form yard.

Verdict

THECLOCKISTICKING had some very solid novice hurdle form throughout last season and ended a fine campaign with a second behind Diese Des Bieffes at Cheltenham last month when benefiting from a return to good ground. That form, along with his efforts behind the likes of Vinndication and Claimantakinforgan, read very well so a handicap mark of 138 looks an attractive one. Stamp Your Feet may benefit from a return to a flatter track having been pulled up at Sandown last time and has a good piece of form at this track having placed behind Bags Groove here in October. Massini's Trap was third on that occasion and has a solid course record with this surface likely to suit more than soft ground here at the Grand National meeting last month.

Verdict

WHATZDJAZZ was better than ever when runner-up in a very competitive mares' handicap at Cheltenham last month and a 4 lb rise won't prevent a very bold bid to go one better. Eaton Hill also found only one too good in a strong C&D contest last time and is feared most, with Sternrubin likely to give it a good go from the front.

Fair form at best in bumpers and needs to improve for switch to hurdling if he's to beat Not The Fuisse.

Verdict

NOT THAT FUISSE got off the mark over hurdles at Uttoxeter 13 days ago in good style and Dan Skelton's gelding can get the better of his three rivals here as, on ratings, he is 17lb better than Irish challenger All Good Things and his form overall is stronger. All Good Things looks ideal for forecast purposes, while Orkan can win the battle for third over Pirolo.

Verdict

Very hard to see past NOT THAT FUISSE who had plenty in hand at Uttoxeter and should prove too strong for fellow previous winner All Good Things.

Totally different proposition for Martin Todhunter, winning back-to-back handicaps at up to 20.5f in February. Perhaps unsuited by the drop-in trip last time, but this asks for more anyway.

Verdict

Sky Pirate showed a reasonable level of form in three starts under Rules last year for Jonjo O'Neill, while Black Sam Bella did it well on handicap bow after a break at Uttoxeter earlier this month. Lough Derg Farmer has a point to prove and wears first-time blinkers for Nicky Henderson, but this can go to the top-weight WHO'S MY JOCKEY. Suited by decent ground, the five-year-old arrives here a fresh horse after just one start so far in 2018 and looks poised to claim back-to-back victories.

Verdict

BLACK SAM BELLA proved a different proposition when making a successful handicap bow with plenty in hand at Uttoxeter 13 days ago, and she appeals as the sort that could run up a sequence now she's on the right path. My Old Gold remains one to be positive about, while Wemyss Point could have more to offer returning to this sphere.

Firmly on the decline based on this season's efforts.

Verdict

Virgilio landed this prize last year for the Dan Skelton team and warrants a market check on his second start since a wind operation, while Ballyalton ran well in two competitive handicaps at Cheltenham and at this venue in the spring and is entitled to go well now with his sights lowered. Preference, however, is for WINTER LION, who won on his second start for Fergal O'Brien last time on handicap debut over fences. A 4lb rise looks generous and the eight-year-old can go in again.

Verdict

WINTER LION is already off the mark for Fergal O'Brien, but strikes as the type that could go on improving for his new yard for a while yet, so he's taken to follow up his gutsy Cheltenham success at the expense of Ballyalton and last year's winner Virgilio.

Verdict

Billygwyn Too got the better of KOOTENAY RIVER (second) at Exeter last time out, but the latter has a 6lb swing in the weights this time and was only beaten three quarters of a length. The four-year-old has scope for improvement for Alan King and rates as the one to beat. Rapaport has a nice profile for this under Gina Andrews, while Equus Pandora is also considered at this sort of level.

Verdict

The betting needs monitoring here with a number having enjoyed success in points but the percentage call is to stick with those who've already shown they can do it in under Rules. BILLYGWYN TOO edged out expensive purchase Kootenay River at Exeter last month and is taken to confirm his superiority over Alan King's charge.
