Promising type. Winner at Brighton in August. Good second of 6 in nursery at Salisbury (8f, good, 7/4) 22 days ago. The one to beat.

Verdict

EESHA'S SMILE stayed on strongly when making a winning debut over the extended 7f at Beverley and is expected to improve for this extra yardage second time out. Rosamour backed up a Brighton stroll with a solid Salisbury second and should be able to give another good account, while any money for newcomer Living Legend, a stablemate of the selection, or Michael Bell's debutant Tribal Commander would be worth noting.

Verdict

EESHA'S SMILE made the perfect start to her career when making every post a winning one at Beverley and, with improvement on the cards, she is marginally preferred to Rosamour. Newcomer Tribal Commander will be of interest if the market speaks in his favour, while the selection's stablemate Living Legend also needs a second look in the betting.

Verdict

DR DORO struck over 5f at Ayr two starts ago and is expected to step up on her subsequent 6f Lingfield third now dropping back slightly in trip. Fantasy Justifier is only 4lb higher than when successful at Chepstow last month and could emerge as the main danger. Others worthy of consideration are the veteran Time Medicean, who is 5lb higher than his last winning mark, and recent Redcar scorer Sandkissed.

Verdict

The vote goes to DR DORO, who returned to form when making a winning reappearance at Ayr and backed that up when third off this mark at Lingfield subsequently. Frank Cool may emerge as the main danger following decent efforts at Windsor and Goodwood the last twice. Prince Rock should also be involved if getting away on terms and recent Redcar winner Sandkissed is another to consider.

Lightly-raced maiden. First run since leaving Harry Dunlop when last of 11 in minor event (200/1) at Kempton (8f) 38 days ago. Back down in trip on handicap debut and she's hard to warm to.

Verdict

VINCENZO COCCOTTI has held his form well since striking over C&D in June and is expected to step up on his Newmarket fourth in 0-85 company now he is eased in grade. Time Stands Still was beaten by a head off 2lb higher on her penultimate start at Tipperary and might emerge as the main danger to the selection. Angelito is entitled to come on for his reappearance effort here and could also take a hand.

Verdict

Irish raider TIME STANDS STILL failed to fire at Tipperary last time, but she went close off a 2 lb higher mark there previously and a reproduction of that would probably be enough to see her home in front in this handicap. While Defining Moment has struggled for the most part this year, she has slipped to a handy mark as a consequence and is feared most ahead of Wild Flower and Vincenzo Coccotti.

Verdict

VJ DAY made a winning debut for Martyn Meade on his latest start at Windsor three weeks ago, when just getting up in the dying strides, and he looks capable of going in again off 1lb higher. Jack Taylor showed more last time at Epsom behind Carlton Frankie and a repeat of that effort can see him in the mix, while Secretinthepark and Nibras Again appear best of the remainder.

Verdict

VJ DAY made a winning debut for this yard when returning from a break at Windsor 3 weeks ago and, having gone up just 1 lb for that, he is taken to follow up. Secretinthepark is lurking on a dangerous mark and has to be feared on the back of his latest effort at Chepstow. Kasbah also enters calculations.

Tricky customer. Two wins from 46 Flat runs. Twenty five runs since last win in 2017. Respectable 4 lengths ninth of 15 to War Glory in handicap at Kempton (8f, 10/1) 7 days ago. Eyeshields back on.

Verdict

DAIRA PRINCE shaped well after a two-month break at Chester despite his finishing position behind Oh This Is Us, and the step back up in trip can bring about improvement from the son of Dubawi. War Glory returned to winning ways at Kempton in the London Mile Final, with his consistency finally rewarded, and is likely to run his usual honest race, while a drop in trip could benefit Bid Adieu, whose form over further has been solid.

Verdict

The vote in this trappy-looking contest goes to MASHAM STAR, who is just 3 lb above the mark off which he was successful under this rider at Redcar last month. Mark Johnston's charge wasn't beaten far in a stronger handicap than this on the AW recently and may have too many guns for Daira Prince and recent Kempton winner War Glory.

Lightly-raced maiden. 40/1, last of 8 in nursery at Carlisle (6.9f, good to soft) 16 days ago. 3 lb 'wrong' at the weights.

Verdict

SOPHOSC has improved since beginning life in nursery company and registered a deserved success at Chelmsford when benefiting from the step up to a mile. Fast ground is ideal for the son of Society Rock, and he can defy a 10lb hike. Rollicking was another to appreciate a rise in trip when getting off the mark at Windsor, accounting for New Queen, but the latter could feasibly reverse the form on more favourable terms.

Verdict

ROLLICKING kept on well when getting the better of New Queen at Windsor recently and may again have the measure of that rival, despite going up 4 lb. Queen of Jumeirah may do better now moving into a nursery and is best of the rest, given that Sophosc is 10 lb higher compared to when opening his account on the AW last time.

Verdict

WATHEEQA romped to a seven-length victory over course and distance in a novice contest earlier this summer, and Roger Varian's filly is backed to make a successful transition to the handicap ranks. Ghayadh came ever so close to scoring at Redcar last month and the booking of Nicola Currie in the saddle offsets most of the 5lb extra burden the assessor has handed the Kyllachy gelding. Whitehall and Starboy also come under consideration.

Verdict

WATHEEQA did the job well when landing a C&D minor event in July and, with further improvement on the cards, she should prove hard to beat off what may turn out to be a lenient opening mark. Orange Suit and Macaque can fill the places.

Thrice-raced maiden. 10/1 and hooded for 1st time, sixth of 11 in minor event at Chepstow (12f, good). Off 92 days.

Verdict

HERE'S ALICE was held in high enough regard to compete in the Cheshire Oaks on just her second start and despite failing to trouble the judge in her races so far, the Galileo filly has the chance to post a breakthrough success. Dagian is back into novice company and steps up in trip, while Cuban Fire must not be ruled out because there has been some encouragement to take from her two outings.

Verdict

CUBAN FIRE has failed to trouble the judge in minor events at Windsor and Kempton, but this won't take much winning and she may find the necessary improvement to make it third time lucky. Dagian is the one to beat judged on his reappearance effort and is the clear main danger ahead of Here's Alice.
