Poor maiden on Flat who is a likely outsider on return/hurdling debut.

Verdict

INN THE BULL showed signs of promise on the Flat earlier this year and should be one to do better now making his debut in this sphere. The son of Lope De Vega is bred for this sphere and represents a trainer who has experience of turning his recruits into useful hurdlers. Jazzy hasn't looked the same since winning on his second start over the sticks in July and could struggle to keep pace, with the main danger expected to be posed from Hazamar, who attracted support here earlier this month but met trouble on the bend.

Verdict

INN THE BULL has endured a disappointing campaign on the Flat, but he wouldn't have to be any great shakes to make his mark here now hurdling and he gets the nod. Hazamar, who showed ability but didn't look entirely straightforward over C&D recently, is also expected to be firmly in the mix.

Winning pointer but tailed off only start over hurdles and poor form over fences.

Verdict

A tricky handicap to solve and the pin has landed on BENNACHIE, who represents an in-form trainer and should appreciate a step up in trip. Tim Vaughan's charge has been dropped a couple of pounds by the assessor and won't mind the forecast lively ground. King's Song shaped at Warwick recently as though his winning turn was near and is another who won't mind this extra stamina test, while Somerset Lias is often a bridesmaid but deserves to end his long winless run before long.

Verdict

FOREVER MY FRIEND had more in hand than the bare margin suggests at Ffos Las on Saturday so can defy a penalty. Presence Felt and Hepijeu look best of the others.

Successful 3 times over hurdles in 2015 and has already bettered that form over fences, travelling best when unseating rider at this course last time. Races off the same mark and is a big player.

Verdict

AFTER EIGHT SIVOLA's chasing debut assignment at Newton Abbot was obviously made a lot easier by the early departure of 1-5 favourite Old Guard, but the six-year-old could do no more than win, and win well, and there should be plenty of improvement to come. He gets the vote to see off the consistent Canicallyouback and I'dliketheoption, who was still travelling well here earlier in the month before pecking and unseating Aidan Coleman four out.

Verdict

Three-time hurdle winner I'DLIKETHEOPTION is already promising to be a better chaser, and was still to be asked for his effort when unseating his rider at this course last time. He is fancied to make amends. After Eight Sivola and Canicallyouback may give him most to think about.

Maiden over hurdles and that unlikely to change from 7 lb out of the weights.

Verdict

DOMINADA was an impressive all-the-way winner under Megan Carberry at Carlisle last week and, due to go up 15lb in the near future, it will be a little disappointing if he can't follow up. Sarpech looks the obvious danger carrying a 7lb penalty for his comfortable Huntingdon success although Maoi Chinn Tire, Today Please and Triple Chief are also capable performers and will be waiting to pounce on any mistakes from the aforementioned duo.

Verdict

DOMINADA looked a long way ahead of the assessor when readily making all at Carlisle a week ago, and the fact he escapes a penalty means he's a blot on the handicap. Sarpech would ordinarily make a fair amount of appeal, but he looks destined for minor honours.

Proving consistent rather than progressive over hurdles during the spring, runner-up for third time in a 21f mares' maiden at Kempton in May. Ought to give her running once more on return.

Proving consistent rather than progressive over hurdles during the spring, runner-up for third time in a 21f mares' maiden at Kempton in May. Ought to give her running once more on return.

Verdict

Smart bumper performer LILLIAN made the perfect start to her hurdling career at Towcester, jumping well and winning by a wide margin, and open to any amount of improvement, she gets the vote to follow up. Maid Of Milan made no mistake when sent off a short-priced favourite at Kempton in May (Hollow Bay second) and she warrants plenty of respect on her return to action, while seasonal/hurdling debutant Beyond Measure adds further spice to the race.

Verdict

LILLIAN impressed with the manner of success at Towcester in May, jumping fine and travelling strongly to boot, and she gets the nod to defy a penalty on return to action. Maid of Milan, who was also successful in the spring, can give her most to think about.

Verdict

SHE'S LATE hinted his turn was fast approaching when third over an extended 3m at Towcester earlier in the month and is expected to step up on that effort now cutting back in trip. Go On Henry has dropped to a workable mark and is worth a market check now fitted with first-time blinkers, while there could be improvement to come from Coeur De Fou, who drops into 0-100 company off top-weight and has cheekpieces refitted.

Verdict

Selecting ABBEYGREY involves a degree of guesswork given he's been off the track for a long time but, in a race full of questionable characters, he's not fully exposed and looked much better than a hundred-rated horse when progressing in 2014, so he can get the better of another well-handicapped pair in Coeur de Fou and Go On Henry.
