Verdict

GLORIOUS CHARMER is bred to be an above-average juvenile, being from the family of the Queen Mary winners Romantic Myth and Romantic Liason, and he was not disgraced when finishing third on her debut at Doncaster last month. That form was boosted when the winner won the Lily Agnes at Chester last week and this son of Charm Spirit tops the shortlist. High Horse has a similar profile to the selection and is another who should improve for his first run. Amazing Fox cost 180,000gns as a yearling and his half-sister won in the April of her juvenile season and went on to be a Graded performer in the US.

Verdict

HIGH HORSE couldn't quite justify market confidence on debut at Bath but it was still a promising effort all the same and he can put that experience to good use. Sunsprite and Amazing Fox both cost plenty at the sales and need keeping an eye on.

Verdict

The unbeaten FAYROUZ ROSE made an impressive debut for this yard when winning well at Brighton earlier in the month. An opening mark of 85 is stiff enough but she may have more to offer on just her third start. Last Enchantment put in a career best to win at Nottingham at the beginning of the month and a 4lb rise in the ratings should be workable. Time Change bumped into a couple of decent rivals at Windsor a few weeks ago and is another to consider.

Verdict

FAYROUZ ROSE improved on her debut success for Mick Channon last term when a ready winner of a small-field minor event for her new stable at Brighton 2 weeks ago, and with further progress a distinct possibility, she is fancied to complete the hat-trick on handicap debut. Time Change and Last Enchantment rate next best.

Verdict

ROCK EAGLE created a very good impression when making a winning debut at Windsor last month and the second from the race, who was giving the selection 7lb, has been given an opening mark of 102. Based on that evidence it would be no surprise to see him prove to be as good as his Group-winning half-brother Highland Knight. King Lud and Mapped can also be expected to go well but their form is not quite as strong as the selection's.

Verdict

ROCK EAGLE overcame inexperience when running down a couple of previous winners at Windsor on debut and looks a good prospect. He's taken to defy a penalty at the main expense of King Lud.

Verdict

Plenty of these have valid claims but there is no standout candidate, although the marginal preference is for NASSYA. The daughter of Dubawi displayed some promising signs when finishing fifth on her debut at Doncaster last October and her pedigree suggests that she should improve as a three-year-old. Sun Maiden did not live up to her breeding, being a Frankel half-sister to Midday, when finishing fourth on her debut in December but it is far too soon to be writing her off. Others to note are Sheila's Rock, Voluminous, Whispering Sands and White Light.

Verdict

A race sure to throw up plenty of future winners, with the narrow vote in favour of NASSYA. An expensive purchase, she showed plenty to work on without being given a hard time when fifth at Doncaster back in the autumn, and she is very much the type to improve significantly. Voluminous, White Light and Sun Maiden are a trio of others to consider.

Twice-raced maiden. Last of 6 in minor event (50/1) at Leicester (10f, heavy) 19 days ago. Can only be watched for the time being.

Verdict

Tolkyn is a well bred filly and should improve for her first racecourse experience at Sandown last month. That said, a chance can be taken with ANBAA, who cost 500,000 euros as a yearling and that is no surprise given her pedigree. The daughter of Lope De Vega is a full-sister to the Group 3 winner Ride Like The Wind as well as the useful handicapper Qassem. Tamreer is another newcomer to consider given that she is out of a Group-placed mare who is from the family of the Group 1 winner Muhtathir.

Verdict

ANBAA makes a good deal of appeal on paper and hails from a yard adept at readying a newcomer, so she gets the narrow vote to come out on top without the benefit of market clues. Tolkyn and Neyland, both of whom showed ability on their respective debuts, and also hail from leading yards, can play their part with the likelihood of better to come.

Verdict

BIRD FOR LIFE has been very consistent over the past couple of months on the all-weather and may prove capable of further improvement returning to turf for the first time since her juvenile days. Garcon De Soleil was a runaway winner here over 1m6f last time and he shouldn't be inconvenienced back down in distance, while Sanches looks best of the remainder.

Verdict

BIRD FOR LIFE has been in good form on the polytrack and has a big shout if proving as effective on turf with a return to this trip sure to suit. Melabi and Sanches are a couple of the other likely ones.

Verdict

GO ROO represents a stable in excellent form at present and he showed some decent form last season which suggests an opening mark of 74 could prove to be fairly lenient. Qaaraat kept knocking on the door last year and is entitled to improve for that recent outing at Nottingham, while Iconic Knight and Quick Breath can fight it out for the minor money.

Verdict

This can go to QUICK BREATH, who upped his game when scoring on his return at Windsor last month and likely has more to offer after only a handful of career starts. Procedure, Qaaraat and Iconic Knight make up the shortlist.

Been in fine form of late and gained a deserved victory in 7-runner handicap at Windsor (6f, good to firm) 10 days ago. 6 lb penalty to carry now, but expected to make another bold bid.
