Fair maiden on Flat (stays 1½m) for Ismail Mohammed. Not given unduly hard time when fifth on Wincanton hurdling bow in March but will need to leave that well behind to get involved.

Verdict

Coyoacan has not been beaten at all far in every start over timber and seems sure to land a small novice hurdle this summer. Coroberee is a likely improver for the Dan Skelton team, likewise Arthington for Seamus Mullins. However, AND THE NEW has figured well in both the Cheltenham and Aintree bumpers since joining Johnny Farrelly and will surely go close if transferring that level of ability over the smaller obstacles.

Verdict

AND THE NEW wasn't beaten far in top bumpers on his last 2 starts and rates a useful recruit to hurdling. Coyoacan has run to a fair level on his 2 starts over timber this spring and is the obvious danger, although Dan Skelton's Coroberee could easily improve with his recent hurdling debut under his belt.

Ran best race for some time when second of 16 in handicap hurdle at Taunton (19f) in February and looks one of the likelier contenders.

Verdict

Celestial Dancer will be popular as it's rare to see her yard field one in a seller and she's likely to come on for her hurdling debut. However, she was easily beaten in a very modest race and it's hard to be confident about the value of the run, so QUEEN OF EPIRUS is preferred instead. She has delivered fair form in modest handicap company and her latest runner-up effort at Taunton reads well enough. Marienstar is next best.

Verdict

MARIENSTAR was disappointing on her most recent start in Ireland, but is the clear form pick in a race which won't take a great deal of winning and can make a successful debut for Alexandra Dunn. Queen of Epirus may be her biggest danger.

Fairly useful hurdler who returned from a long absence to finish runner-up on her Ludlow chase debut in March. Better than bare result next time and remains well treated on hurdles form.

Verdict

Tiger Trek has a decent chance on his best form but was he beaten a long way on his return so the market may prove the best guide to his chance. Helium is proving hard to catch right, though The Yank and Beyeh could both play a part if on song. The former is of particular interest and rates the main threat to MODELIGO, who has been much improved the last twice and is taken to defy a 15lb rise for those comfortable victories.

Verdict

BEYEH shaped better than the distance beaten suggests over further at Warwick 3 weeks ago, possibly still needing her second run back after a lengthy absence, and she remains well treated on her hurdles form. Modeligo arrives at the top of his game and is the obvious threat, with Altiepix best of the rest.

Verdict

SUN CLOUD has pulled-up on two of his last five starts, so comes with risk attached, but he's a tough and durable stayer at his best and can go close if on a going day. He delivered a strong performance to get the best of Total Assets at Perth last time. Generous Chief continues to run his race and should be involved under the champion jockey, while Stay Out Of Court and Crown Hill are also noted in an open affair.

Verdict

STAY OUT OF COURT was in the process of running well prior to falling heavily 3 out at Wetherby in March. Wisely given time since, he probably remains with a bigger effort in his locker given his low-mileage profile and could well be worth chancing. Perth-scorer Sun Cloud and the consistent Generous Chief are just 2 potential threats, though.

Little sign of ability in 4 starts over timber including on Taunton handicap debut last time. 1 lb out of the weights.

Verdict

Bermeo and Petrou both merit a market check as they return from absences of over 300 days, especially the latter who now debuts for Dan Skelton. Chevalgris and Brass Monkey are others to note, with the former preferred of the pair, while Miss Mash will be suited by the forecast conditions and is also respected. However, GET HOME NOW gets the narrow vote ahead of all after bumping into a well handicapped sort latest.

Verdict

MISS MASH returned to the form of her Bangor success when a fine second at Market Rasen last time and is taken to get back to winning ways with Richard Johnson aboard. Dan Skelton often improves recruits to his yard and Petrou has to be feared, particularly if the market vibes are strong. Chevalgris is next best.

Still a maiden under Rules but ran up to his best on return from 6-month break when second at this venue in March. Well held completed start since and races from well out of the weights.

Verdict

Clondaw Draft bounced back to form when scraping home by the narrowest of margins latest and has obvious claims if running to a similar level, while Druid's Folly reverts to hurdles just four days after pulling-up over fences at Worcester. He'll be there or thereabouts if none the worse for the experience, though the consistent SAND BLAST may improve on his recent Taunton second behind the useful Ridgeway Flyer to land a deserved victory.

Verdict

CLONDAW DRAFT's antics off the bridle resulted in a narrow win on second chase start at Bangor last month, but that has certainly helped his revised mark and he is comfortably the most persuasive option. Druid's Folly is surely capable of better as a chaser, with newcomer Sand Blast not an obvious sort on paper, but he does represent a top yard.
