Once-raced maiden. 50/1, seventh of 8 in minor event at Lingfield (6f, AW) on debut 25 days ago.

Verdict

GALLOVIE was less than a length behind the winner when she finished second on her debut at Newbury last month. That form was boosted when the third won on Tuesday and this daughter of Kyllachy should only improve for that experience. Antonia Clara, Chains Of Love and Rita's Folly are others who have already displayed promise on the racecourse and they could all go well. Emerald Approach is a full-sister to the former Chesham winner Tha'ir and she is a newcomer to note.

Verdict

GALLOVIE showed plenty when second of 16 on debut at Newbury and that form has since received a boost with the third subsequently winning. Antonia Clara and newcomer Emerald Approach are feared most.

Promising sort. 50/1 and hooded, second of 8 in minor event at Kempton (7f) on debut 46 days ago, just failing. Open to improvement and leading claims.

Verdict

TWO BLONDES struggled to make her mark in a competitive Goodwood nursery last time out but her previous form suggests that she is more than good enough to win a race of this nature. Ballet Red put in a promising effort on her debut but that form has not worked out too well. West End Charmer was well supported prior to his first run and it is too soon to be writing him off, while Robert Fitzroy should not be underestimated.

Verdict

BALLET RED belied big odds when running a mighty race first time up at Kempton and could be hard to beat if building on that here with the longer trip likely to suit. Jacko is an interesting newcomer, while Two Blondes could go well with the promising Scott McCullagh taking 7 lb off his back.

Unreliable sort. Fifteen runs since last win in 2016. 9/2, third of 4 in handicap at Chepstow (8.1f, good) 58 days ago. Back down in trip. Vulnerable.

Verdict

GOODNIGHT GIRL is a progressive filly who arrives on the back of an impressive victory at Newbury late last month. A 6lb rise in the ratings for that success is fair and there is every chance that she may have more improvement to come. Restless Rose is another whose recent form offers plenty of encouragement, while Exceedingly Diva should have benefitted from her comeback run.

Verdict

RESTLESS ROSE is improving by the run, just failing at Newmarket last time, and gets the vote. Exceedingly Diva was returning from nearly a year off at Salisbury a fortnight ago and makes plenty of appeal on the form of her 2-y-o win. Goodnight Girl is really getting her act together now and should go well again.

Verdict

BULLINGDON made a winning handicap debut at Chelmsford in May and he was far from disgraced when finishing third in a good handicap last time out. He can race off the same mark this afternoon and this contest does appear to be weaker. Simpson has been highly tried in recent starts and he should not be underestimated, while Easy Tiger should run his usual solid race. Salt Whistle Bay would have to be respected if making the line-up but he was due to run at Haydock on Saturday.

Verdict

BULLINGDON is a lightly-raced sort going the right way and has already shown a liking for this track, so he's taken to get back to winning ways provided he can reel in Easy Tiger, who should give a bold bid from the front. Salt Whistle Bay's last run was too bad to be true, so he should be back on his game.

Verdict

MADAME BOUNTY has been running creditably in defeat of late, including when second over track and trip latest, and is expected to finish on the premises, despite a recent 1lb rise in the ratings. Silverrica is only 1lb higher than when scoring over this trip at Bath in May and could play a supporting role, while recent Nottingham third Ladweb, a track-and-trip winner, has also slipped to a workable mark at present and commands respect.

Verdict

MADAME BOUNTY confirmed her return to form when runner-up over C&D 3 weeks ago and should remain competitive off this sort of mark. Ladweb shaped with promise on his belated return to action and is next best ahead of Silverrica.

Verdict

In an open-looking heat, the tentative selection is TIME TO PERFECTION, who makes some appeal on her 1m4f Lingfield second in June and will appreciate the step back up in trip, having disappointed over 1m2f at Chepstow last time. Balgowlah is worth a market check now dropping back in distance and eased into 0-55 company, while Macho Mover, a recent 1m fourth at Bath, could play a prominent role if seeing out this longer trip.

Verdict

BALGOWLAH has yet to have a proper crack at a strongly-run race, and in the hope they do go a fair clip this time, he can confirm his mark to be a lenient one. Time To Perfection and Macho Mover have more going for them than the rest.

Verdict

Safarhi took a keen hold on his handicap debut at Doncaster but that was his seasonal bow and he may fare better with the benefit of the run behind him. Of more interest, however, is PERCY PROSECCO, who picked up minor money earlier in the year on the all-weather off similar marks and is a potential improver now granted this stiffer test. Champs Inblue makes some appeal on his Kempton fifth latest and is another surface switcher to consider.

Verdict

SAFARHI could do with settling better than on his reappearance at Doncaster last month but that could have knocked the freshness out of him and there should be more to come. Percy Prosecco underperformed last time but still has a more compelling profile than most of these and can provide the main threat ahead of Michael Bell's Chickpea.

Verdict

ITLAAQ won with plenty in hand under Serena Brotherton at Musselburgh last time out and is expected to give a good account off 3lb higher as the pair maintain the partnership. Duke Of Yorkshire chased the selection home in Scotland last time and is again the one expected to put up most resistance. Broad Appeal was sent off favourite for a C&D handicap latest in which Camakasi was second. Both rivals have place possibilities.

Verdict

ITLAAQ is 2 from his last 3 and did it comfortably under today's partner last time so, despite his advancing years, there's an excellent case to be made for him going in again, particularly in the likely event of another strongly-run race. Camakasi and Broad Appeal both arrive in excellent form, but lack the experience in the saddle enjoyed by the selection.
