Verdict

Diviner was impressive when successful at Hamilton but has done precious little of note since, while Jungle Juice's profile is very similar in that she won authoritatively at Wolverhampton but has struggled since. PAGEANT MASTER gets the vote as his form is heading in the opposition direction, as he struggled early on in his career but put up a career-best performance at Newcastle last time.

Verdict

ANANDITA improved in first-time cheekpieces when runner-up to a subsequent winner over this trip at Kempton last month and she's taken to go one better with further progress on the cards. Pageant Master and Hypnos head up the opposition.

Thrice-raced maiden. Sixteenth of 18 in maiden (150/1) at Newmarket (8f, good to firm) 18 days ago. Starts out from a lowly mark but hard to recommend on what he's shown.

Verdict

A pair of handicap debutants catch the eye, as Unbeatable Dancer was a fair third on her latest start at Carlisle and Ginger Fox ran well for second at Salisbury on his last start in novice company. They may both have to give best to KENNOCHA, though, as Amy Murphy's filly built on the promise shown in her third start to finish a good second at Kempton last time. Given another chance off the same mark, she could strike.

Verdict

BUBBELAH has been brought along gradually and appeals as the sort to take a marked jumped forward now switched to a nursery. Ginger Fox was understandably no match for the exciting Jash at Salisbury last month, but is expected to run well from a fair opening mark. Queen Constantine should find this a bit easier and is another to consider.

Verdict

Very little convincing form to go on, though SARASOTA BAY certainly heads those with experience after running a very solid third at Haydock on debut. John Quinn's charge sets the benchmark on that performance and may not have to improve much to land this. Aplomb looks the pick of the remainder after his fifth at Newbury, while Invincible Larne filled the same position on his debut at Nottingham.

Verdict

SARASOTA BAY has leading claims judged on her debut third at Haydock 5 weeks ago. Aplomb has plenty to find but is likely to step up considerably following a promising debut, while Invincible Larne is another likely improver.

Verdict

Reloaded built on a modest debut effort to land the spoils at Pontefract and could go well upped in trip again, but TURJOMAAN could be tough to beat here. Roger Varian's charge was a gutsy winner of an Ascot novice race on debut and could well have even more to offer. The selection's stablemate Motawaj is open to improvement, while John Gosden's pair of Frederickbarbarosa and Azano also have claims.

Verdict

TURJOMAAN has a penalty but still sets a high standard for the others to aim at following an Ascot debut win. Reloaded has a penalty also but he improved to win at Pontefract on his second run, and can do better still. Frederickbarbarosa remains with potential as well.

Verdict

ROYAL HALL may be a maiden after 12 Flat starts, but he has been making hay over timber recently, winning twice, and he showed up well back on the level at Lingfield last time. Gary Moore's charge gets the vote ahead of Ffos Las winner Homing Star, who might find the underfoot conditions a little too quick for him. Lily Ash and Tilsworth Lukey have both shown solid form in recent outings and can go well too.

Verdict

Course-regular TYRSAL didn't get the best of runs over this C&D last month, and from 1 lb lower with Gerald Mosse taking over, he seems sure to go well. Ember's Glow and Tigerfish both found only one too good last time so arrive in good order.

Verdict

GAS MONKEY struck on his reappearance back in April and has been lightly raced since, finishing second at this venue in June before a close-up fourth at Nottingham in August. Perhaps best when given breaks between his races, he could strike after two months off the track. Cottingham showed up well on his handicap debut at Bath last time and is a danger, while Highland Bobby and Boreagh Lass both look well treated on the pick of their form.

Verdict

COTTINGHAM fared best of those held up when fourth on turf/handicap debut at Bath a fortnight ago, and on that evidence, he has a bigger performance in his locker. Gas Monkey can remain competitive at this level, while Elusive Show has a basement mark to exploit.
