Showed blazing speed when winning 11-runner maiden at Keeneland (4.5f) on debut in April, just holding on. Effort worth upgrading and respected.

Verdict

Aidan O'Brien holds a strong hand here with Curragh maiden winner Just Wonderful, who is entitled to have improved from that eye-catching debut performance, and FAIRYLAND, who took a Curragh Listed race in style to remain unbeaten and a similar performance would see the 925,000gns purchase go very close. Mark Johnston's dual winner Main Edition leads the UK charge, with Cheveley Park's Haydock scorer Angel's Hideaway and Godolphin's easy Kempton winner La Pelosa others to consider from the home team. Different League made virtually all for Matthieu Palussiere in this race last season and the French handler saddles No More Regrets this time around. Similar front-running tactics are likely from the Kodiac youngster, who cost 130,000 pounds last week at the Goffs London Sales and now runs in the colours of Leicester City owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha. Fellow French raider Reponse Exacte is respected having won in style on her debut only last week, while it wouldn't be a Royal Ascot two-year-old race without a Wesley Ward representative these days and his Stillwater Cove brings winning Kenneland form to the table.

Verdict

JUST WONDERFUL makes most appeal after a highly encouraging winning debut at the Curragh last month. She’s taken to improve considerably and could be set for the very top (her dam got to a rating of 116 in just 3 juvenile races for Aidan O'Brien). Her stablemate Fairyland has won both her starts to date and commands plenty of respect, as does Main Edition, who has scope for further progress.

Built on debut success when taking 11-runner Acomb Stakes at York last summer. Respectable sixth in Dante there on return and entitled to come on for that, though does have stamina to prove.

Verdict

Derby sixth Delano Roosevelt leads the Ballydoyle assault and the choice of Ryan Moore looks certain to play a part here, with none of his Epsom rivals in opposition this time. Stablemate Rostropovich will be looking to leave his French Derby disappointment behind him up in trip, however, it could be Aidan O'Brien's King George V Cup winner GIUSEPPE GARIBALDI who lands the spoils having impressed that day at Leopardstown and while still open to plenty of progression. Acomb Stakes winner Wells Farhh Go skipped the Derby following his Dante exploits, but has to be respected trying this distance for the first time, while Raa Atoll got the better of Elector at Nottingham and John Gosden's Sea The Stars colt should at least confirm the form here now searching for a hat-trick.

Verdict

OLD PERSIAN continues to go from strength to strength and his stamina remains an unopened door to progress, often shaping as though ready for this step up to 1½m, and he should make a bold bid. Raa Atoll looks highly progressive and is another to consider for team Gosden/Dettori, while Delano Roosevelt heads a 3-strong team from Ballydoyle.

Useful filly. 1¾ lengths fourth of 7 to Sioux Nation in Naas Group 3 last time. Likely to find a few too strong here.

Verdict

Charles Hills took the first ever running of this contest with Muhaarar in 2015 and looks to have the chance to become the first dual winner of this Group 1 event with his Prince Khalid Abdullah speedball EQUILATERAL, who relished encountering fast ground for the first time when routing the opposition by eight lengths at Doncaster. Leading Australian jockey James McDonald is in the saddle for what looks a huge step up in class, but the form of that Doncaster run has been franked by the runner-up subsequently winning twice and the son of Equiano appears a top level winner in waiting. Sioux Nation and Heartache were both winners at the Royal meeting last season and have to be respected, with the former looking strong at the distance when taking a Naas Group 3 last time. Sands Of Mali is unbeaten at three having scored in both a Chantilly Group 3 and the Group 2 Sandy Lane Stakes this term, and it would be no surprise to see him confirm Haydock form over Invincible Army and Emblazoned. Main Desire returned from 363 days off to get the better of Hey Jonesy and Roussel in the Westow Stakes at York and Michael Bell's filly could run well at bigger odds, providing the dreaded bounce factor doesn't rear its head.

Verdict

SIOUX NATION has a progressive record on going faster than good and can provide his trainer with a second successive winner in this race. Sands of Mali and Invincible Army are very closely matched on Sandy Lane form and this likeable pair look sure to give good accounts of themselves, while Equilateral and Emblazoned are lightly-raced sorts who have the potential for better still.

Verdict

ALPHA CENTAURI was runner-up in the Albany at this meeting 12 months ago and has taken her form to a new level since, winning the Irish 1,000 Guineas last month. Jessica Harrington's charge got on top late on last time and remains open to further improvement over a mile. Billesdon Brook won the English 1000 Guineas from Laurens, form which was boosted by Karl Burke's charge in the Prix de Diane last weekend, and is the one expected to put up most resistance, though unbeaten French filly Teppal also demands the utmost respect. At bigger prices, Anna Nerium is interesting on the back of her Group 3 second at Epsom, when she finished strongly from rear to go down by under a length at the line, albeit she was a well-held seventh in the 1000 Guineas previously.

Verdict

CLEMMIE became the first offspring of Galileo to win a Group 1 over 6f last season, and as a sister to dual-Guineas winner Churchill, she should have more to offer over 1m having shaped encouragingly on her return in the Irish 1000 Guineas. There was no fluke about Billesdon Brook's win in the Guineas at Newmarket and she has to be considered, while Threading makes each-way appeal at bigger odds.

Confirmed debut promise when making a winning return in a Newmarket maiden (8f) in April. Not disgraced in Musidora last time and return to this trip looks a good move. Interesting.

Off the mark on return at Wolverhampton last month and upped her game when taking York handicap (10.3f) subsequently. Likely more to come yet, although drop back in trip not guaranteed to suit.

Promising filly who got off the mark when taking maiden at Windsor (8.1f, good to firm) 32 days ago. Looks on a workable mark on handicap debut and is one for the shortlist.

Ran well both starts in handicaps since taking Curragh maiden and looked unlucky not to score (short of room late on) when third at Roscommon (7.2f) last time. Should go well.

Upped her form a notch, in first-time blinkers, when landing big-field maiden at Newmarket (7f) 36 days ago. Looks fairly treated on handicap debut and is another to consider. Cheekpieces applied.
