Verdict

HIDDEN FUTURE looks the one to beat in the opener despite having placed on all four of his starts over timber in maiden company. Many would question his ability to go through with his races but the Irish raider may appreciate a change in scenery and form behind Willie Mullins' Terminal looks strong enough. Elsewhere, the 118-rated Eurohunter is feared most on his return to novice company, with White Fusion another taken to make the frame.

Verdict

Irish-raider Hidden Future looks sure to give his running again but if there's a progressive type in this line-up it's Abbey Garth, and he's taken to build on the promise of last month's hurdling bow at Doncaster.

Verdict

Seven Is Lucky was a course winner two starts ago but looked slightly out of his depth at Wetherby latest and is now up to a mark of 106. With that in mind, RIGHT ENOUGH has threatened a win and remains well treated off this mark of 97. The step back up in trip here should suit him down to the ground and there could be more to come from the lightly-raced seven-year-old, though Crop Walker is another to take seriously.

Verdict

Right Enough improved when runner-up at Newcastle last month and is fancied to prove too good for his rivals here. Papamoa and Crop Walker may be the pair to chase him home.

Took advantage of falling mark at Newcastle (2½m) in January 2010 for Howard Johnson, but missed whole of last year and has shown little returning from lengthy absence for this yard recently.

Verdict

Master d'Or bounced back to winning ways at Fontwell when last sighted but must now defy a 7lb rise in the ratings. Sophie Leech's veteran warrants the utmost respect but preference is for last year's winner SAMMY SPIDERMAN. The son of Karinga Bay scored off a mark of 83 here 12 months ago but has done enough this season to suggest he can get competitive today off this 8lb higher mark. Penalised winner Mr Woods is another set to run a big race.

Verdict

Tipsy Dara has performed with credit on both starts since joining her current stable and can continue her good run by taking this. Sammy Spiderman finished one place behind the selection over C&D last time and is another to consider along with Rossini's Dancer.

Better than ever when winning a 17f Kelso handicap for Lucinda Russell in April, but operating below best since returning for this yard in November. Will at least appreciate return to this trip.

Verdict

Nelson du Ronceray was lucky to emerge on top in a handicap hurdle here last time but his strike-rate over fences is an enviable one and another big run looks assured. However, marginal preference is for MALLUSK. He didn't seem to get the trip when stepped back up to 2m5f at Lingfield but had previously been going well over 2m and looks worth another chance off his present handicap mark, especially with conditions in his favour. Comfortable Sedgefield scorer The Thirsty Bricky is also accorded respect.

Verdict

An unappealing betting event but Mallusk ran well in a couple of 2m handicaps around the turn of the year, will handle the conditions and can prove too strong for Nelson du Ronceray and veteran Polar Gunner.

Followed up success on the Flat when winning at Sedgefield (17f) in November. Series of good efforts since but does look as though the handicapper probably has him about right for now.

Verdict

CIRCUS CLOWN has produced a string of solid efforts over hurdles and fences this season, including a second over 2m on his penultimate outing here in January. The return to this sort of trip seemed to suit when second again in a handicap chase at Kelso last month and the testing conditions are certainly up his street. The same cannot be said of Catterick winner Rudemeister, but he is less exposed than the selection and could make his mark if the ground dries up. Top-weight Helium is not out of it either.

Verdict

Aneyeforaneye shaped nicely on her recent comeback and is taken to resume winning ways. The Rainbow Hunter is on a good mark if shrugging off his latest Wincanton flop, while the unexposed Catterick scorer Rudemeister has more to offer now handicapping.

Took off upon joining this stable, winning 4 of 5 completed starts over fences. Mixed bag since and sometimes a hard ride, but form of latest Uttoxeter third is solid (winner won again since).

Verdict

ALLANARD won in tremendous style here in January and was still a length in front before falling two out when bidding to follow up under a penalty last time out. He's been given time to recovery from that unsettling experience and although now competing off his revised rating (6lb higher than last time), there could still be more to come and the drop back to 2m4f will do him no harm either. The returning Flying Squad is an obvious threat if resuming where he left off in November, while Alexander Oats is another entitled to figure.

Verdict

Douglas Julian showed he was as good as ever when back on the scoreboard at Newcastle in November and looks worthy of support having failed to stay in the Eider last time. Desperate Dex and Flying Squad could provide the main opposition.

Sister to fairly useful chaser Edgeover. Made winning debut when beating Bonnie Burnett by 10 lengths in C&D bumper last month and fancied to confirm the placings despite being 9 lb worse off.

Verdict

Dante's Frolic made a good impression when winning by 10 lengths over this C&D last month but this looks a slightly stronger race and she might be worth opposing with BUFFALO BALLET. He was sent off an unconsidered 40/1 chance on his debut at Musselburgh in December but shaped with real promise in third and has been given plenty of time to develop since that introduction. Point winner Kris Cross will make a jumper in time but could be worth noting in the betting, a comment that also applies to Arnis Brack.

Verdict

Dante's Frolic and Bonnie Burnett finished 1-2 here last month and can repeat the trick again. Point-winner Kris Cross heads the dangers.
