Verdict

RAPTURE finished over five lengths behind Que Amoro when third over C&D on debut last month but Richard Fahey's filly was conceding experience to the winner on that occasion and may fare better with the benefit of an outing now under her belt. Que Amoro has since run creditably in a nursery at York but is drawn awkwardly. Ginvincible and Glass Slippers are improving between runs and are others to consider.

Verdict

GLASS SLIPPERS improved from her debut effort when sixth in a competitive Goodwood maiden earlier this month and it's likely we haven't seen the best of her yet. She can open her account here. Que Amoro and Ginvincible look the likeliest dangers.

Thrice-raced maiden. 100/1, last of 4 in minor event at Ayr (6f, good) 24 days ago, slowly away. Up in trip. Makes handicap debut. Difficult ask.

Verdict

ONE TO GO was touched off by a neck on his handicap debut over the extended 1m at Nottingham and could feasibly go one better, off the same mark, now dropping back slightly in distance. Pesci and Abie's Hollow have picked up minor money in novice company at this venue and are both of interest on their handicap debuts. Spirit Kingdom may benefit from this step back up in trip after a spell sprinting and is also considered.

Verdict

ONE TO GO upped his game when just held on nursery debut at Nottingham last week and makes plenty of appeal off the same mark here. Abie's Hollow and Pesci are other key players.

Verdict

FLOWER POWER was beaten by under a length in a similar contest over C&D latest, with over two lengths back to the third, and has an obvious chance now returning on an unchanged rating. Bittersweet was unable to land a blow on an enterprisingly-ridden winner over 1m2f at Pontefract but could appreciate this stiffer test, while Lean On Pete, now 5lb lower than when winning over track and trip last summer, is also weighted to finish in the shake-up.

Verdict

FLOWER POWER posted a season's best when runner-up over C&D last month and could be the answer to a tricky-looking contest. Lean On Pete and Siyahamba are others to consider.

Verdict

B FIFTY TWO has been slipping down the ratings in recent months and hinted his turn was approaching again when beaten by a neck off this mark at Carlisle. Marjorie Fife's nine-year-old is 2lb lower than when winning at Pontefract this spring and has bagged a low draw to boost his appeal, and he is officially 3lb well-in. Arnold is only 2lb higher than when scoring over C&D last month and can fight it out with Piazon, who debuts for a new trainer, for the minor money.

Verdict

B FIFTY TWO went close off this mark in a lady riders' event at Carlisle recently, leaving the distinct impression that his turn is again near. Well-drawn in stall 4, he is taken to confirm that impression by striking here, perhaps at the chief expense of C&D winner Arnold. Point of Woods makes each-way appeal, a remark which also applies to Oriental Splendour and the veteran Seamster.

Off the mark at Nottingham (14f, heavy) in May and good second of 7 in handicap at Sandown (14f, good) last time. Still relatively lightly-raced and should go well again.

Verdict

As the sole three-year-old in the line-up, DAGUENEAU appears dangerously treated from the foot of the handicap in receipt of weight-for-age. He kept on well to score over 1m6f at Nottingham on his penultimate outing and is unexposed over 2m. Tommy Docc appears a danger to all now eased into 0-85 company, while Precision has yet to hit his stride this term but is only 2lb higher than when winning at Sandown last year.

Verdict

DAGUENEAU backed up his Nottingham success with a solid second at Sandown and shapes as though this longer trip will suit. He is fancied to land the spoils. Precision starts out for a new yard and rates the principal danger.

First run since leaving Nigel Tinkler when ninth of 11 in handicap at Thirsk (7f, good to soft) 20 days ago. Back up in trip. Tongue strap back on. Easy to look elsewhere. 2 lb out of the weights.

Verdict

CASCELLA has slowly been coming to the boil and won nicely over a similar trip at Leicester earlier in the month. A 9lb rise will obviously make life a lot tougher, but she remains open to greater improvement and has been handed a lovely draw in stall one. Archie Perkins will need to challenge from a lot wider but still warrants respect following recent placed efforts at Doncaster and Nottingham. Ganton Par, Dorcas and Power Sail add further spice to the race.

Verdict

CASCELLA opened her account at Leicester last time and is clearly going the right way at present. She remains on a workable mark and is taken to follow up. Archie Perkins is proving very consistent and looks the main danger, whilst Ganton Par is also of interest.
