Verdict

BORN TO FINISH was touched off by a neck over the extended 5f at Bath last time out and is expected to go well off the same mark now a useful 5lb claimer takes over in the saddle. Swissal has been competing over 7f lately and could feasibly take a hand now reverting to sprinting. The pick of the remainder may be C&D winner Curious Fox, who arrives out of form but has slipped to a handy mark.

Verdict

Ready preference is for BORN TO FINISH, who did well to finish as close as he did following a tardy start when runner-up at Bath on Saturday. He should go one better off the same mark here if getting away on terms. Indian Warrior and Curious Fox can fill the places.

Foaled May 12. Half-sister to several winners, including smart 2-y-o 6f winner Huntdown and useful 6f-9.5f winner Vainglory. Dam winner up to 1m (2-y-o 6f winner). Likely-looking type.

Foaled May 12. Half-sister to several winners, including smart 2-y-o 6f winner Huntdown and useful 6f-9.5f winner Vainglory. Dam winner up to 1m (2-y-o 6f winner). Likely-looking type.

Verdict

Leoube is improving between runs and should go well if building on his Windsor fifth last time now stepping up from 5f. However, it might be worth chancing Mark Johnston's SPIRIT KINGDOM, who represents a stable capable of reading a newcomer and is a half-sister to six winners. If Nayslayer runs to a similar level of form as when third over this trip at Goodwood last Friday he would also be tough to keep out of the frame.

Verdict

Those with experience hardly set an exalted standard and newcomer SPIRIT KINGDOM looks the way to go. She is certainly bred to make a 2-y-o and confidence behind her in the betting would look highly significant. Fellow debutante Feel Glorious isn't devoid of appeal on paper but George Baker rarely saddles first-time-out winners and Spirit Kingdom may have most to fear from Leoube and Nayslayer.

Verdict

GAINSAY scored with plenty in hand over track and trip last month and is expected to remain competitive following a 9lb rise in the ratings. Kachumba was denied a hat-trick when fifth over this trip at Leicester recently but if the ground is riding on the fast side it would come as no surprise to see him get back on the winning trail. Sicario is a potential improver on his handicap debut and is also respected.

Verdict

GAINSAY made it 2-3 in handicaps when scoring in decisive fashion over C&D 3 weeks ago and a 9 lb rise may not be enough to prevent her from following up, what with the distinct promise of even better to come from this unexposed filly. Chikoko Trail didn't perform at all badly on his first run in a handicap at Salisbury on Sunday but Kachumba and Bombshell Bay may emerge as the main dangers.

Verdict

MAMILLIUS met with trouble on the inside rail over 6f here last time and can have his effort upgraded. He was also running under a penalty while 4lb badly in. Now running off his true mark and dropping back to a C&D over which he was successful previously, a big run is anticipated. Pride Of Angels rarely runs a bad race and should be thereabouts, while Mr Tyrrell, who was touched off by a short-head over a mile at Doncaster, could also take a hand.

Verdict

PRIDE OF ANGELS is still progressing judged on her last 3 starts and gets the vote over Mr Tyrrell, who also arrives at the top of his game but remains a maiden after 17 attempts. Mamillius is another to consider.

Verdict

SEINESATIONAL scored with plenty of authority over the extended 1m3f at Windsor last time and is expected to follow up now turned out swiftly under a penalty. Lady Of Petra returned to form when second over 1m2f at this track last time and has place claims now stepping up in distance. The main danger to the selection, however, may be Lyford, who was touched off by under a length over this trip at Lingfield latest.

Verdict

SEINESATIONAL responded well to the fitting of a visor when off the mark at Windsor recently and, with his rider's claim largely negating the 6 lb penalty he incurred, further success awaits William Knight's charge here. Diablery was fourth behind the selection at that Berkshire venue after encountering traffic problems and is a much-respected main danger. Lady of Petra is best of the rest.

Verdict

SHARP OPERATOR looked well in command when returning to winning ways over track and trip last time and is expected to follow up now returning to handicap company on a 3lb higher mark. With Approval is only 3lb higher than when striking over C&D three weeks ago and should be thereabouts at the line, likewise the consistent Limerick Lord, a distance winner on the all-weather who was outpaced over 7f here last time out.

Verdict

The one with the most appealing claims is SHARP OPERATOR, who has held his form well since getting off the mark at Chelmsford in February and opened his turf account when scoring over this C&D last time. Fellow last-time-out winner With Approval is next on the list but Narjes will also be a threat if on a 'going' day.

Verdict

Deer Song has been off the track since finishing runner-up over 5f at Kempton in January and is worth monitoring closely in the betting, though SWIFT FOX is only 2lb higher than when scoring over this trip at Lingfield in March and could be a dangerous opponent in receipt of weight for age. Terri Rules drops back in trip after picking up some minor money over 6f at Wolverhampton and is considered the pick of the remainder.

Verdict

Just 1 lb higher compared to when striking at Wolverhampton in February, ASK THE GURU could be the answer. He was a close third over C&D recently and a reproduction of that would give him every chance. Deer Song's strike rate is hardly compelling but he was runner-up off this mark when last seen at Kempton in January and will be a threat if on-song back from a break., Terri Rules also has claims.
