Long-standing maiden who isn't too hard to oppose.

Verdict

Low key stuff to kick things off and GOLD BONNE RAINE might only need to reproduce the form of her latest third-placed effort at Uttoxeter to score. Way Of The World bounces out off the same mark as when third at Hereford on Tuesday and he should give another good account, while Gentleman Farmer, an easy Towcester winner two starts ago, is worth a market check at least on his return from a 140-day absence.

Verdict

GOLD BONNE RAINE would have gone very close at Uttoxeter last time had things panned out a bit better and this could finally be her day. Way of The World will be a threat if this doesn't come too soon after Hereford, while Gentleman Farmer won't be too far away if bouncing back to his Towcester form after a break.

Modest maiden on the Flat for Jim Bolger and finding her feet as a hurdler, for all she often looks hard work and may benefit from more severe headgear. 4 lb out of the weights.

Verdict

Eaton Miller has placed on his last couple of starts and looks sure to be in the mix again, while Balkinstown is clearly a lot better than his showing at Uttoxeter last time. However, a chance is taken on THE MANUSCRIPT, who is the least exposed member of this line-up with only four starts under his belt and may well improve for his comeback sixth at Uttoxeter some four weeks ago. Off 1lb lower, he should be competitive.

Verdict

THE MANUSCRIPT is just about the only one in here with potential, and following an improved showing on last month's handicap debut at Uttoxeter, he looks the way to go. Balkinstown was behind the selection that day but he's better than that showing, while Eaton Miller was in good nick when last seen in the summer.

Record distinctly patchy and makes no appeal in a race of this nature.

Verdict

AIMEE DE SIVOLA took high rank in the bumper sphere last season, finishing second and fourth in a couple of Listed events, and she will prove tough to beat on her hurdling bow. Etamine Du Cochet only found We Have A Dream, who has won twice at Grade 1 level since, too good on her debut some 11 months ago and hopefully she retains all that ability, while point-to-point scorer Annie Bonny adds further spice to the race.

Verdict

AIMEE DE SIVOLA has all the credentials to make an above-average hurdler, a half-sister to some useful types who has set an excellent platform in bumpers, so she is taken to make a winning start in this discipline at the expense of fellow French-breds Etamine du Cochet and Frimage Burg, who both have plenty of potential in their own right.

Verdict

Veteran performer TORNADO IN MILAN ended last season with a couple of wins and, if anywhere near peak fitness on his return to action, the past course scorer may continue where he left off. Candy Burg won nicely at Newton Abbot before disappointing at Market Rasen last time and he might be worth another chance, while Crown Theatre could potentially improve for wind surgery and Noel Fehily is a positive jockey booking.

Verdict

Whilst he lacks the benefit of a recent run, the percentage call is to side with TORNADO IN MILAN. He ended last term in fine form and a number of those in opposition arrive with questions to answer. Rock On Oscar on debut for Matt Sheppard and Candy Burg may well emerge as his chief dangers.

Tough and genuine mare who did well over hurdles last season, winning 3 times, notably Grade 3 handicap at Aintree. Excellent second at Haydock when last seen in May. Chase debut.

Verdict

VISION DES FLOS reached a high level in novice hurdles, placing twice at Grade 1 level at both Aintree and Punchestown, and he has the potential to make a big impact in the novice chase division. The son of Balko also showed up well over this distance at the Cheltenham Festival when beaten less than 10 lengths by Samcro in the Ballymore. No Comment shaped with plenty of encouragement despite being beaten a combined total of 88 lengths in two outings over fences last term at Sandown and Cheltenham, while Jester Jet could prove dangerous with the mares allowance having won a good handicap hurdle at Aintree's Grand National meeting.

Verdict

A novice chase high in quality and depth, all bar Angels Antics useful over hurdles at the least, the best being VISION DES FLOS, who was runner-up in a couple of Grade 1 novice hurdles. No Comment and Bags Groove have already shown an aptitude for chasing so are feared most.

Better than ever when winning at Newbury/Ludlow in spring but found life much tougher from out of weights at Cheltenham final start and another very stiff task from 10 lb out of handicap on return.

Verdict

THE NEW ONE has never been defeated on his seasonal reappearance which includes success in this contest 12 months ago. His form tailed off at both Cheltenham and Aintree in the spring which means he comes into this 1lb lower than last year and he is reunited with jockey Zac Baker, who takes 5lb off his back. Silver Streak won the Swinton at Haydock on his latest outing and is another to take seriously. Evan Williams' grey still appears to have more to offer and could serve it up to the selection, while others to consider include Mohaayed, this year's County Hurdle winner at Cheltenham, and Ozzie The Oscar, who reverts to hurdles after a decent spell over fences.

Verdict

A tough race to call but SILVER STREAK did very well to win the Swinton Hurdle at Haydock in May and shades the vote having also won on his reappearance last season. Mohaayed still looks on a good mark despite winning the County Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival, while Le Prezien and Ozzie The Oscar are both well treated on chase form.

Struck here in May but has a bit to prove after lacklustre runs the last twice.

Verdict

ZAMPARELLI has taken a step forward over fences on his last couple of starts when benefiting from a step up in trip at both Stratford and Market Rasen. He has gone up plenty in the handicap as a result, but there is every chance he'll keep on progressing for the Dan Skelton team. West Wizard returned to winning ways having looked to appreciate a drop in distance at Market Rasen last month and could have more to offer despite a 6lb rise, while Market Road could have more to give on his seventh outing over fences.

Verdict

ZAMPARELLI could prove the class act if picking up where he left off in the spring when winning twice. Market Road and West Wizard are both previous course winners and come into the reckoning.
