Verdict

GODDESS hails from an outstanding family, that includes the likes of Galileo and Sea The Stars, and she had a nightmare trip when finishing down the field on her debut at the Curragh. The daughter of Camelot is likely to improve for that experience and could be hard to beat. Pursuit Of Magic is a half-sister to a French Listed winner and could prove to be the main threat to the selection. That said, Munees Gemini also merits a market inspection.

Verdict

GODDESS produced a promisng first effort at the Curragh last month, going well when snatched up 1f out, and with considerable progress on the cards she can make it second time lucky taking on a field of newcomers, including Pursuit of Magic who is the pick before market clues.

Lightly-raced maiden. Tongue strap on for 1st time, twelfth of 15 in handicap (8/1) at this course (7.1f, good to firm) 35 days ago. Must improve.

Verdict

TREMENDOUS LEAP has performed well in all of his starts in maidens and the switch to handicap company could see the son of Shamardal get off the mark. Red Avenger has to be respected following his narrow win at the Curragh earlier in the month, although a 5lb rise in the ratings will make life harder for him. Atlas and Waterboy are others who merit places on the shortlist.

Verdict

TREMENDOUS LEAP has posted fairly-useful form in maidens thus far and looks on a handy mark for his handicap bow. He can take full advantage. Waterboy and Red Avenger are other key players.

Winner at Roscommon in June. Fourth of 6 in handicap (7/2) at the Curragh (10f, good to firm) 13 days ago. Remains fairly treated.

Verdict

MEDAL OF HONOUR was kept busy as a juvenile but his defeat of a subsequent winner at the Curragh in May suggested that he may improve this year. A 5lb rise for that success appears to be fair and he has to be given the utmost respect. Bucky Larson is another who has already had a successful year and it would be no surprise to see him in the mix again, while Lethal Power and War Hero also make the shortlist.

Verdict

MEDAL OF HONOUR picked up where he left off in last campaign with victory at the Curragh in May and still looks on a workable mark. He can extend his winning run. Bucky Larson looks the principal danger.

Latest win at the Curragh in June. 14/1, respectable seventh of 14 in handicap at Cork (12f, good) 25 days ago.

Verdict

A very competitive handicap which can go the way of THE KING, who is unexposed and arguably put in a career best last time out. On that occasion he was only a neck behind a useful rival in a similar race to this at Navan and a 5lb rise for that effort should be workable. Lucius Tiberius won well at the Curragh late last month and is an obvious threat to the selection, along with Massif Central and Agent Zigzag.

Verdict

ESPOIR D'SOLEIL got stopped in her run at a crucial stage when favourite for a Curragh handicap 11 days ago and is worth another chance to confirm the promise of her reappearance second at the same venue. Unexposed 3-y-o The King is a probable big danger, while Massif Central and Aidan O'Brien's Lucius Tiberius also make the shortlist in a very competitive heat.

Thrice-raced maiden. 12/1, third of 13 in maiden at Limerick (11.3f, good) 20 days ago, well positioned. Up in trip. Plenty to find on form.

Verdict

SIZZLING has already made the podium in both Listed and Group Three company this season and the step up in trip could bring about further improvement in the Galileo filly, who has proved a consistent Ballydoyle inmate this season. Cimeara was second behind Guiseppe Garibaldi in the Listed King George V Cup here last time and the step up to 1m6f seems the natural progression. She has to be respected along with Listed winner Detailed.

Verdict

SIZZLING promises to be well suited by the step up to this trip and can build on a promising third in similar company at Naas a couple of weeks ago. Detailed came good at a similar time last year and could provide the main threat if bouncing back to anything like the pick of her form after a short break.

Career best when winning 15-runner minor event at the Curragh (12f, good to firm, 9/2) 13 days ago, staying on well. Likely to be on the premises again.

Verdict

DAWN HOOFER won a competitive renewal of the Apprentice Derby at the Curragh when last seen and, despite an 8lb rise for that victory, there looks to be plenty still in the locker and she can account for some useful rivals. Days Without End has gone close in a trio of maidens this term and has to be respected on his first handicap start, while any market support for The Plan Man and Waterville Dancer should be noted with both making each-way appeal.

Verdict

DAYS WITHOUT END likely has more to offer now switching his attention to handicaps andgets the nod. Jim Bolger's Dawn Hoofer is going the right way and rates an obvious danger, while Abjar made a fairly encouraging start for new trainer Mick Halford at the Curragh last month.

Verdict

TORNADO WATCH has gone close the last twice on the level and, having scored twice over hurdles in the spring, he can get off the mark in this sphere now stepping up in trip a further two furlongs. Davids Charm was fifth behind the selection at Ballinrobe on what was just his second Flat appearance and he will probably put up most resistance, while bumper winner Kolumbus is interesting having been off the track for over a year.

Verdict

TORNADO WATCH ran to a fairly useful level when runner-up twice in similar events last month and stands a good chance of getting off the mark here. Kolumbus hasn't been seen since pulling up over hurdles in June last year but is still feared for the Willie Mullins team, while Davids Charm can build on his recent fifth at Ballinrobe.
