One win from 43 Flat runs. Last of 11 in handicap (7/1) at Brighton (5.3f, good to firm) 2 days ago.

Verdict

TOOLATETODELEGATE missed out on a Bath hat-trick last time, but Brian Barr's consistent performer can bounce back to winning ways here having been somewhat an unlucky loser that day when hampered at the finish. Chelmsford winner Hurricane Alert has to be respected having only risen 4lb in the handicap, while C&D winner Entertaining Ben has a tough draw to overcome, as does Impart, but both are capable of making the frame.

Verdict

ABSOLUTELY AWESOME has slipped below his last winning mark, and is worth another chance having had a hopeless task from his position at Wolverhampton last time. Toolatetodelegate has to be respected given his current well-being, while Impart could also figure.

Thrice-raced maiden. 25/1, fourth of 6 in minor event at Bath (5f, firm) 5 days ago.

Verdict

BIG TIME MAYBE should relish the return to a synthetic surface and Tom Dascombe's three-year-old could be hard to beat dropping in class here. The lightly-raced Katherine Place receives weight all round and that may help her make the placings, while others with each-way possibilities are Phil McEntee's Doncaster winner Just Us Two and track-and-trip winner Pharoh Jake.

Verdict

BIG TIME MAYBE sets a clear standard and is taken to capitalise from the drop in grade. Just Us Two would be a threat if back to his best.

Verdict

WHITE IVERSON appeared open to improvement when third at Yarmouth on debut and Richard Spencer's youngster could easily prove to be the one to beat having lost ground coming out of the stalls that day. Disruptor's debut fifth appears the next best piece of form on offer, with his Kempton race throwing up subsequent winners, while Owen Burrows' 100,000 pounds yearling Alsimsaam rates best of the newcomers, ahead of the Qatar Racing colt Reconnaissance representing Andrew Balding.

Verdict

DISRUPTOR would have gone into many notebooks after an eye-catching debut at Kempton in April, and he has the scope to leave that form well behind now upped to 6f. White Iverson is sure to be in the mix with improvement forthcoming, with Alsimsaam perhaps pick of the newcomers.

Verdict

There didn't appear to be any fluke about PEGGIE SUE's breakthrough success over a similar trip at Wolverhampton and, with that confidence booster under her belt, she gets the vote to defy a 6lb rise. Falcao has been running well in defeat off higher marks and ought to go close, while Majorette is respected following her narrow defeat in a Leicester seller.

Verdict

PEGGIE SUE is unexposed on the all-weather and can follow up her recent Wolverhampton success with another victory. Falcao is potentially very well treated on old form and is feared most ahead of Gold Club.

Verdict

SONNET ROSE has been in great form throughout 2018 and the step up to a mile on a track of this nature could bring about further improvement. Sebastian Woods gets a good tune out of the daughter of Poet's Voice and is reunited with her once again. Peace Terms was behind the selection last time at Wolverhampton and may benefit from the application a first-time tongue-tie, while Ramblow could bounce back to form stepping back up in trip.

Verdict

STOSUR has had excuses the last twice, stretched by 10f on heavy ground at Pontefract before her saddle slipped at Yarmouth last time, so she makes plenty of appeal now back on AW and down in trip off a reduced mark. In-form Sonnet Rose is the solid alternative ahead of the selection's stablemate Topmeup.

Verdict

WATCH TAN is coming to the boil and is expected to step up on her 7f Brighton second last time now granted this additional furlong. Guardiola left behind some moderate novice form when second on his handicap debut at Salisbury and is the one expected to put up most resistance. Recent Wetherby third Macho Mover returns on the same mark this evening and could also take a hand if transferring that form into this sphere.

Verdict

GUARDIOLA is bred to be a fair bit better than this grade and found only one that was thrown in too good at Salisbury on handicap debut, so there's every chance he can get off the mark in this weak affair, with the more exposed Macho Mover and Vodka Pigeon the likeliest ones to chase him home.
