Foaled March 1. £50,000 yearling, No Nay Never filly. Dam unraced.

Verdict

With no form to go on, the market will be the best guide to expectations but the nod goes to SHAMBOLIC. The daughter of Shamardal is a half-sister to the eight-time Group 1 winner in Hong Kong Viva Pataca, while another of her close relations is the US Grade 1 winner Laughing. Hello Bangkok is a half-sister to five black-type performers and she displayed enough promise at a breeze-up sale earlier in the year for connections to part with 200,000gns to buy the filly. Material Girl represents a yard who have done well with their juveniles this year and she is another to note. Hawthorn Rose also makes plenty of appeal based on her pedigree but, being by Nathaniel and from the family of Notnowcato, she may need further than this in time.

Verdict

A field of newcomers, and the market should offer plenty of extra clues, but HELLO BANGKOK gets the nod as things stand. A sister to smart 7f winner Fadhayyil, she cost 200,000 gns when re-sold earlier this year, and ticks plenty of boxes. Shambolic has plenty to recommend her too, while Hawthorn Rose will also be popular for the Sir Michael Stoute/Andrea Atzeni combination.

Showed ability in a trio of novice events, but down the field on C&D nursery debut 15 days ago. First-time visor needs to have a positive effect.

Verdict

EYELOOL has improved with every start to date and, following his victory at Epsom last month, he could take plenty of beating off an opening mark of 79. Greenback Boogie filled third place in a very competitive nursery at Goodwood last week and he could prove to be the main threat to the selection, off just a 1lb higher mark. Others to consider are Cupboard Love and Pirate.

Verdict

GREENBACK BOOGIE's third in a big-field event at Glorious Goodwood surely represents solid form and he gets the nod under Dettori. Eyelool is progressing steadily and rates a big threat for the William Haggas team, while Pogo is nicely handicapped if recapturing the level of his first 2 outings.

Likeable type who overcame a failure to fully settle when gaining his third success of the season at Epsom last month and, following a small rise, can be expected to remain competitive.

Verdict

DANCETERIA is a highly-progressive three-year-old who arrives here following a hat-trick of victories in recent months. The last two of those victories have come over this C&D and a 5lb rise in the ratings may not be enough to stop him from taking this race, especially when taking into account his rider's valuable 3lb claim. Kaanoon is another in-form participant who remains unexposed and he may have more to offer. Derek Duval and Caliburn complete the shortlist.

Verdict

DANCETERIA, Kaanoon and Caliburn all fit the profile of upwardly-mobile 3-y-os getting plenty of weight from the bulk of their rivals, so the chances are that they'll come to the fore here. They're hard to split, but the first named has shown he's at home on this track and has the benefit of a confident claimer taking a further 3 lb off, so he gets the narrow vote.

Bred to be useful and has made a promising start, third on AW before readily landing a small-field novice over C&D. Likely there's plenty more to come.

Verdict

MAIN EDITION was not going to win the Duchess Of Cambridge here last time out but she would have gone close but for some severe interference inside the final two furlongs. She had won the Albany at Royal Ascot on her previous start and the step up to 7f should help her chances. La Pelosa was just behind the selection at Ascot but she was a bit disappointing in a Listed race last time out. Pennywhistle and California Love have to prove themselves at this level but they are both promising types and should not be underestimated.

Verdict

PENNYWHISTLE won a C&D novice with the minimum of fuss last month and is selected to take the step up in class in her stride. There's little to separate Main Edition and La Pelosa on Albany form, although the latter wasn't at her best when behind the reopposing Ajrar in a Sandown listed event over this trip last time.

Not seen since below par at Goodwood in May but progressive prior to that, and his fourth at Ascot on penultimate start is strong form.

Verdict

This looks all about RIPP ORF, whose only lacklustre performance so far this year came on soft ground at Epsom. His course form is encouraging, first and second in two visits, and he will prove extremely difficult to beat if reproducing the form of his latest third in the International Stakes at Ascot. Lake Volta was surrounded by subsequent winners when three-parts of a length third at Newbury and he warrants plenty of respect off a 1lb lower mark, while the consistent Spanish City is unlikely to be far away either.

Verdict

RIPP ORF has been one of the handicappers of the season and isn't done with yet judged on his latest run at Ascot. Lake Volta is respected, especially if allowed an easy lead, while Spanish City is another with strong C&D form.

Caused a surprise when making winning return/handicap bow at Yarmouth (1m, good to firm) and back on the up when sixth (behind Petrus) at Ascot 2 weeks ago,

Verdict

PETRUS ran right up to his best when a length third over this trip at Ascot two weeks ago (Protected Guest sixth) and, with Frankie Dettori a positive jockey booking, he is fancied to mount a bold bid off 2lb higher. Three Weeks has been gelded since a slightly disappointing effort at Kempton in March and he must enter calculations on his handicap debut, while Morning Has Broken is another lightly-raced performer who looks to be improving all the time, though she was engaged to run here on Friday.

Verdict

PETRUS was a close third in a better race than this at Ascot last time so a bold bid is expected. Protected Guest shaped well behind the selection that day and is another to consider, along with the unexposed Three Weeks.

Bumper/Flat maiden winner back in 2015/16. Best not judged on first run for a year at Windsor in April, hampered start and eased off. Watch the betting.

Verdict

MASTER ARCHER has finished either first or second on his last 10 Flat appearances and, with Frankie Dettori getting the leg up for the first time, James Fanshawe's charge looks sure to be in the thick of the action again. He shades the verdict ahead of Its'afreebee, a talented dual purpose performer who won over this sort of trip at Lingfield two starts ago, while Stanley, St Mary's and Good Time Ahead add extra ingredients to a spicy concluding event.

Verdict

MASTER ARCHER continues in fine form and could add a second win to his record with Frankie Dettori up for the first time. Stanley and Its'afreebee both have appealing claims also.
