Thrice-raced maiden. 100/1, ninth of 11 in minor event at Beverley (5f, good to firm) 27 days ago.

Verdict

WORLD ORDER sports first-time blinkers, with them appearing to be a last chance saloon, as he has not gone on as expected from two fine efforts earlier in the season. He has a good draw to strike from and it would be disappointing were he unable to get off the mark. Hard Solution is considered on his Ayr effort last time, while Don Logan can take a step forward from his debut fifth at Wolverhampton.

Verdict

WORLD ORDER is in danger of becoming disappointing, but with blinkers enlisted from a good draw, he is perhaps worth one more chance. Don Logan was unable to fully open up starting out at Wolverhampton, and he can give the selection most to think about.

Verdict

LYNWOOD GOLD hasn't set the world on fire in a three-year-old campaign that promised plenty at the start of the season, but he comes up against older horses for the first time and could take advantage of the weight-for-age. Tor has been running well on his last couple of starts, including when third over C&D last time, and he can go close once again, while Play It Cool can take a step forward on his second outing for Les Eyre.

Verdict

TOR continues in top form and might be able to defy top weight. Desert Ruler and C&D winner Arrowtown are a couple of the other likely sorts.

Unreliable sort. Respectable fourth of 11 in handicap hurdle at Cartmel (17.2f, good, 11/2) 27 days ago. 6 lb out of the handicap back on the level.

Verdict

DAGUENEAU is a progressive three-year-old going places in staying contests and arrives having produced a career-best effort at Beverley on Thursday over 2m. The extra furlong is likely to suit and the booking of Oisin Murphy looks a huge positive. Becky The Thatcher has improved enormously since having cheekpieces applied, winning twice and finishing second on another two occasions, while Wind Place And Sho is best of the remainder on the form of his third here over 2m2f last time.

Verdict

BECKY THE THATCHER was picked off late when attempting to complete a course hat-trick in June, and given a short break, she could easily continue the good work as she remains on a good mark based on her hurdles form. Dagueneau is a last-time-out winning 3-y-o so has to be feared under a penalty.

Verdict

Stewards' Cup sixth Foxtrot Lady is a wonderfully consistent filly who must enter calculations, but her task is made tricky from stall 11 so a chance is taken DANCE DIVA. Richard Fahey's charge ran much better in Group 3 company at Glorious Goodwood than the finishing position suggests, and she won gamely in this grade at Carlisle before that. From box three, she will give it a good go, while Golden Spell, Tirania and Promising are others to keep an eye on.

Verdict

FOXTROT LADY has progressed into a smart sprinter this season and can resume winning ways back against her own sex having taken on seasoned handicappers in the Stewards' Cup last time. The thriving Rock On Baileys is next best ahead of Irish-raider Golden Spell.

Verdict

GEORGIAN MANOR left a Newmarket flop firmly behind him when scoring comfortably over 7f at Doncaster and, with the potential to improve for this step up in trip, he is fancied to defy a 4lb rise in the ratings. Knighted arrives on the back of a determined Redcar success and he should put up a good fight, although Completion, who drops out of class 2 company for the first time since successful in early May, might pose a bigger threat.

Verdict

GEORGIAN MANOR quickly regained the progressive thread when doubling his career tally at Doncaster last month and, with further improvement a distinct possibility, he is fancied to make a bold bid once more. Autretot and Knighted rate next best.

Verdict

Sir Michael Stoute isn't afraid of sending one of his nicer youngsters here and his HAREEQ, a 420,000 guineas New Approach colt who runs in the colours of Al Shaqab could get the better of modest opposition here. Yajooll was disappointing on debut, but a hood may help him focus and he hails from a top yard, while Move In Faster has gone well in his two starts so far, but this looks his toughest task to date.

Verdict

HAREEQ is an expensive yearling who makes a good deal of appeal on paper, so the percentage call is to side with him for leading connections, without the benefit of market clues. Move In Faster and Yajooll look likeliest to give the selection most to do.

Verdict

Les Eyre took this prize last year and could triumph again here with VAN GERWEN, who represents the same owners as the winner 12 months ago. Despite disappointing the last twice, the gelding was a useful second over course and distance earlier this season and has won off this mark at this venue last term. The lightly-raced Power To Exceed has been running with real credit of late and is a huge danger, as is Bibbidibobbidiboo who has knocked on the door on all of his outings since racking up a brace earlier in the season. Course and distance winners Avenue Of Stars and Round The Island are others who have to be respected.

Verdict

CAMPION might not have quite such an appealing profile as some of her rivals, but she's well handicapped on her 2-y-o efforts, back in form, and has an ideal draw in stall 2, so there's plenty to recommend her here. Bibbidibobbidiboo is sure to post another solid effort and Power To Exceed is on the up, though they both have relatively wide draws to negotiate.
