Verdict

MR ANDROS has filled second place in his last two starts and this moderate contest appears to be an ideal opportunity for the five-year-old to go one better. Relight My Fire has not been at his best of late but he arrives here on a workable mark and it is interesting that Tim Easterby sends him all the way from his Yorkshire base. Others to note are Caribbean Spring and Cricklewood Green.

Verdict

MR ANDROS looks a solid candidate under Serena Brotherton after producing easily his best effort on turf when runner-up at Brighton last month. Relight My Fire is certainly well handicapped on old form, while Emily Goldfinch may have benefited from a break and could also get involved.

Verdict

JASH created a big impression when making a winning start to his career at Newmarket last month, and that performance suggests he can land this race prior to taking up his entry in the Middle Park later in the month. Happy Power built on a solid effort first time at Newbury with success at Hamilton last month and is respected on that effort, while Alsimsaam looks the pick of the remainder based on his debut performance.

Verdict

JASH looked something out of the ordinary when making a winning debut at Newmarket, an effort backed up by the clock. With progress expected, he can take this on his way to better things (holds a Middle Park entry). Happy Power and Conspiritor are feared most.

Verdict

JERSEY WONDER showed plenty of promise on his debut over C&D eight days ago when runner-up to Cap Francais, outrunning his 50-1 odds, and Jamie Osborne's colt can take a step forward from that effort. Dudley's Boy looks likely to improve for the step up to a mile on the evidence of his debut performance at Newbury where he finished second, while newcomers Red October and Mrs Ivy both make some appeal from yards capable of readying a debutant.

Verdict

DUDLEY'S BOY and Jersey Wonder achieved a similar level of form and showed a similar level of promise on their respective debuts, and should be up to winning a race or two. Slight preference is for the former, though newcomers Red October and Surrey Warrior would need considering also if they proved to be strong in the market.

Lightly-raced maiden. Excellent second of 13 in nursery (6/1) at Chelmsford City (8f) 8 days ago. Progressing well recently.

Verdict

HEADLAND won in excellent style on his nursery debut over C&D last week, and is likely to prove difficult to beat once again as he is well treated running under a 6lb penalty. The son of Harbour Watch also has Jason Watson's valuable 3lb claim to assist, and he can prove too strong for the likes of John Betjeman, who has performed consistently throughout his career so far, and Ghost Queen, who will be suited by a return to 7f having not appeared to get home over a mile at Chelmsford.

Verdict

GHOST QUEEN showed improved form making nursery bow when runner-up ay Chelmsford last week, beating the rest comfortably, and has obvious claims off the same mark. Recent C&D winner Headland is feared most ahead of potential-improver Sufficient.

Course winner. Last of 6 in nursery (20/1) at Newmarket (7f, good) 27 days ago. Others arrive with more pressing claims.

Verdict

FEEL GLORIOUS was a surprise winner when landing a Goodwood maiden, sent off 125-1, but there appeared to be no fluke about the performance, with the form working out particularly well, and an opening mark of 81 could underestimate her. Muthhila was raised 12lb for an emphatic success at Wolverhampton and was not disgraced at Doncaster on Thursday, while Thriving can bounce back returning to nursery company.

Verdict

FEEL GLORIOUS defied long odds when making her third start a winning one at Goodwood last month, form which has been boosted since, and she is fancied to continue the good work now tackling nurseries for the first time. Sabai Sabai is feared if shrugging off her latest Leicester effort, whilst Thriving can also bounce back.

5½ lengths last of 5 to Cent Flying in handicap (25/1) at Brighton (6f, soft) 35 days ago. Very hard to make a case for.

Verdict

SILVER SWIFT ran her best race on her most recent outing when fourth at Windsor back in June and, on the evidence of that effort, looks fairly treated off a mark of 60 for her handicap debut. Cent Flying has won two of his last three starts and appears to have more to offer, while a drop to 6f and first-time blinkers could see an improved effort from Bidding War.

Verdict

SILVER SWIFT took a big step forward when fourth in a useful Windsor contest when last seen in June and likely has more to offer now handicapping. The thriving Cent Flying is a big player under a penalty for last week's Ffos Las win, while Brockey Rise is also considered.

Verdict

SWIFT AND SURE has shown good form on her three starts to date, and she looks capable of putting that experience to good use to get off the mark. Clubora is arguably the pick of the newcomers being out of a Group 3-winning mare, who is from the family of Anna Nerium and Billesdon Brook. Mongolia represents the same connections and it will be interesting to see how the pair fare in the market.

Verdict

SWIFT AND SURE hasn't really progressed from her debut but she sets a clear standard amongst those with previous experience. Clubora and Clara Peeters are the interesting newcomers.
