Twice-raced maiden. Last of 11 in maiden (18/1) at Bath (5f, good) 24 days ago.

Verdict

WELL DONE FOX clearly improved for his debut experience when finishing a neck second over C&D last week. It is fair to say that this race is not as strong as that contest and it will be disappointing if Richard Hannon's colt tastes defeat. Irene's Prince outran odds of 33/1 to finish fourth on his introduction at Bath and he is the main threat to the selection, although it is hard to see him causing an upset. The rest do not inspire much confidence, but North Korea is marginally the pick of them.

Verdict

WELL DONE FOX left his debut form well behind when runner-up over C&D last week, and he should have no trouble going one better here. Irene's Prince is probably the one to pick up the pieces if he fails to deliver.

Lightly-raced maiden. Eleventh of 13 in minor event at Newcastle (7.1f, 5/1) 37 days ago. Makes turf debut. Tongue strap back on.

Verdict

HARRY BEAU deserved his victory at Chepstow last time out because it followed back-to-back narrow defeats. A 5lb rise in the ratings for that success should be workable, especially in a moderate contest such as this. Catheadans Fury is another recent winner who has to be considered, while Fareeq and Coastal Cyclone may reward each-way support.

Verdict

CATHEADANS FURY made a successful turf debut at Bath 19 days ago, and she seems sure to go well again from only 1 lb higher. Harry Beau, Swanton Blue and Fareeq are all respected.

Twice-raced filly. 200/1, twelfth of 13 in maiden at Newbury (6f, good). Off 8 months.

Verdict

EMBOUR finished third in a Newbury maiden that has worked out extremely well on his racecourse debut last April, but he was then off the track until his appearance at Goodwood earlier in the month. He may have finished seventh but there was only just over two lengths between himself and the winner. If he can improve for that outing, the son of Acclamation will be tough to beat. Lashabeeh is another who brings solid form to the table, while Praxedis is feared most of the remainder.

Verdict

PRAXEDIS bettered her sole 2-y-o start when second at Doncaster 3 weeks ago, and should be able to win at least a race of this nature. Lashabeeh is another with more to offer, while Juthoor is an interesting newcomer, and market support for him should be noted.

Tenth of 11 in handicap (8/1) at Ascot (16f, firm) 15 days ago, not ideally placed.

Verdict

TARTE TROPEZIENNE is entitled to strip fitter for her comeback run at Windsor and could improve for this stiffer test. Monjeni is worth a market check now returning from an absence and might be the one to put up most resistance. Any money for C&D winner Mark Hopkins would be interesting on his return to action. The consistent Stanley went close off this mark at Doncaster latest and can also take a hand.

Verdict

KEEP IN LINE shaped better than the bare result over a trip that looked to stretch his stamina last time, and he could be the answer now dropping back in distance. Monjeni has his quirks, but was progressive last season so needs taking seriously on his return, with Stanley and Mark Hopkins others to consider.

Verdict

ROSER MOTER ran out an easy winner on her handicap debut over a similar trip at Wolverhampton and if able to reproduce that level of performance back on turf, she can defy a 6lb rise. Dorian Gray was only a neck off completing the hat-trick last time and he should be in the firing line again, while Powerful Society can hopefully back up her 66/1 placed effort at Goodwood three weeks ago.

Verdict

Not a strong race and ROSER MOTER is taken to build on her successful handicap debut at Wolverhampton with another win back on turf. Powerful Society and Dorian Gray also come into the reckoning.
