Handicap winner at Doncaster in February 2015. Made more of an impact when second in a 20.5f Leicester seller last month and each-way claims if building on that.

Verdict

Master Vintage defied a market drift to score readily on his return from a lengthy absence at Leicester and should give another good account providing he doesn't bounce, but it might be worth focusing on Kempton one-two Cleni Wells and CHIEFTAIN'S CHOICE. Martin Hill's charge finished one and three-quarter lengths to the good last week and looks sure to go close under a 7lb penalty, but the latter, who was better fancied that day, escapes any sort of punishment and can reverse the form.

Verdict

The smoothness in which CHIEFTAIN'S CHOICE has been travelling through his recent races screams of a well-handicapped horse and, provided he can be delivered at the right time, he should be able to turn the tables with the thriving Cleni Wells from Kempton last week. Centurius, having just his third run in handicaps, makes most appeal of the remainder in an open race.

Verdict

POUGNE BOBBI was a runaway winner on just his second outing over fences at Ludlow and, with Hugo Hunt's claim effectively cancelling out the 7lb penalty, the unexposed six-year-old is fancied to follow up. There are a few dangers, however, with Cepage topping the list. He fairly bolted up at Newbury before falling at the same venue last time and looks sure to go close with a clear round of jumping today, while Dream Bolt and Speredek add further spice to the race.

Verdict

POUGNE BOBBI left his chase-debut form well behind when scoring impressively at Ludlow last week and there's every chance we haven't seen the best of him yet. Dream Bolt ran a cracker in a stronger event over C&D last time and is feared most, whilst Cepage and Speredek are also respected.

Bought for £200,000 after winning Irish point and landed the odds with the minimum of fuss on hurdles debut at Uttoxeter in December. Would have added to tally but for a fall 2 out latest.

Verdict

COLIN'S SISTER was a high-class bumper performer last season, finishing runner-up in Listed company, and she has done nothing wrong in three starts since being switched to hurdles, winning on each occasion. She ticks all the right boxes in terms of trip, course and ground conditions and will prove extremely difficult to beat. Theatre Territory would almost certainly have won at Newbury but for a fall two from home and she should go close if her confidence is unaffected, while Happy Diva cannot be ruled out either.

Verdict

COLIN'S SISTER has to concede 5 lb all round courtesy of her listed win in December, but has passed every test so far over hurdles and is taken to do so again. Theatre Territory fell when looking a certain winner at Newbury a month ago and she remains with potential, so is feared most.

Probably needed the run on return from 11 months off at Uttoxeter 3 weeks ago, understandable given his age. Up in trip, and claims on pick of form.

Verdict

Everything points to a massive run from RATHLIN ROSE, who is best treated at these weights with a top-rating of 128 and his fourth-placed effort at Newbury 30 days ago is the best last-time-out form on offer. He might well improve for that first outing since May 2015 and looks sure to mount a bold bid under Captain Guy Disney. Troika Steppes ran a decent race at Taunton when last sighted and he should give another good account, while Cody Wyoming also merits consideration under the jockey that won this race in both 2013 and 2015.

Verdict

RATHLIN ROSE made an encouraging return from an absence last month, and assuming he goes the right way from that, should go close on these terms with the blinkers back on. Troika Steppes, who has been holding his form well this season, may prove the biggest danger.

Left hurdling debut form well behind when third at Plumpton last month. Will be of more interest once handicapping, though.

Left hurdling debut form well behind when third at Plumpton last month. Will be of more interest once handicapping, though.

Verdict

This looks a match on paper between Early Du Lemo, who ran a lot better than the margin beaten suggests at Cheltenham behind Defi Du Seuil, and PERCY STREET, a recent winner at Taunton, with preference going to the latter, who possesses smart form on the Flat and looks the more precocious type with the former looking more of a long term prospect. Gregarious took a step forward at Plumpton last month and looks best of the remainder.

Verdict

EARLY DU LEMO shaped much better than the bare result suggests on British debut at Cheltenham last month and he remains one to view positively down in grade. Percy Street will undoubtedly be popular following his convincing Taunton success, and looks the obvious danger.

Improved when making the breakthrough over fences at Huntingdon a year ago but both starts this season have been poor.

Verdict

Cogry returns chasing after a couple of efforts over timber but is best watched on this occasion having ended up on the floor on his last four outings over the larger obstacles. Twenty Eight Guns has been in excellent form of late having won her last two starts and could well improve for the step up in trip but preference goes to the evergreen veteran PETE THE FEAT, winner of the Veterans Series Final over C&D and this is arguably a weaker contest. Willoughby Hedge hasn't shown much so far this season but the first-time visor has the potential to make a difference.

Verdict

TWENTY EIGHT GUNS continues to go from strength to strength over fences and she looks capable of defying another rise even though her stamina is not guaranteed. Knight of Noir stepped up on his reappearance run when third at Hereford is potentially well treated on hurdles form if he can build again on that.

Handed a stiff mark on hurdles form and merely passed beaten horses when sixth on last month's handicap debut at Doncaster.

Verdict

WICKED WILLY has shown fair improvement on his last couple of starts when winning two handicaps in the space of five days at Huntingdon and Market Rasen, going up 5lb in the process, and still looks fairly treated with potential for more to come. Dun Bay Creek returned from a break to land a novice hurdle at Newton Abbot in June and should go well on his handicap debut, while Justification is respected with the yard of Gary Moore having an excellent record at the track.

Verdict

WICKED WILLY was value for extra when supplementing his Huntingdon success at Market Rasen last month, which augurs well for his hat-trick bid from 5 lb higher. This is a race to view positively though, with Justification potentially well handicapped if keeping it together and Trans Express very likely to return to form back over this sort of trip.
