Scoop6 Saturday 15th September 2018

The tote scoop6 is a fantastic pool bet which gives you the chance to win a fortune for a £2 stake.

The challenge is to select all 6 winners from 6 races during Saturday meetings.

If you meet this challenge you will win a share of the scoop6 win fund, which is frequently worth over £1 million, and you will also get the chance to play for the scoop6 bonus fund by picking the winner of a race the following Saturday.

Even if you fail to select all six winners you can win a share of the scoop6 place fund if your selections place in each of the 6 races. Even this lower prize has paid out over £1000 per winner 11 times in the last 12 months. All this for a £2 stake!

Verdict

HOLMESWOOD has dropped 1lb lower than when landing a competitive sprint at York last season and hinted his winning return was approaching again when flashing home for third at the same venue during the Ebor meeting last month. Encrypted appeared to win a shade cosily over this trip at Chelmsford last time and is worthy of shortlist inclusion, as are Great St Wilfrid runner-up Dakota Gold, consistent three-year-old Roundhay Park and Windsor Sprint Series Final winner Udontdodou. A new headgear combination could assist Open Wide, who also has Andrea Atzeni booked.

Verdict

Things didn't go DAKOTA GOLD's way in the Thirsk handicap won by Muscika and, with a strong pace guaranteed here, he is taken to strike. Stablemate Holmeswood has also slipped to an attractive mark and looks a big threat with Silvestre De Sousa again in the hot-seat, having finished third under the champion jockey at York last time. Dougan should be on the premises and Open Wide also has claims.

Didn't need to improve to win 10-runner handicap (15/8) at Salisbury 18 days ago, very much having run of race. Still, entitled to remain competitive on back of small rise in weights.

Verdict

NIGHT OF GLORY put in some encouraging efforts at this track when last seen back in May and he may improve for the application of a pair of blinkers for the first time. Project Bluebook was sent off favourite for a similar event over two miles here last time out and can be given another chance. Baydar and Suegioo are others who merit places on the shortlist.

Verdict

A decidedly trappy affair with the narrow vote in favour of the returning NIGHT OF GLORY. Andrew Balding's 4-y-o has been given a chance at the weights and could well be the way to go fitted with blinkers. Project Bluebook and Ravenous are others to consider.

Group 1 winner In France at 2 but has been below par in 3 outings this season. Should stay this far.

Verdict

Sir Michael Stoute representative MUSTASHRY was beaten just half a length by Lord Glitters in the Strensall Stakes three weeks ago and is expected to remain competitive now stepped up to Group 2 company. D'bai will appreciate the step back up to 7f and is the one expected to put up most resistance. Big runs could be on the cards from C&D winner Oh This Is Us and Breton Rock, who landed this contest two years ago.

Verdict

This looks an open renewal of this Group 2, but preference is for MUSTASHRY, who was supplemented for this race on Monday and has the best form on offer. Admittedly, none of that form has come over 7f, but he has shown enough speed at times to suggest he would have no problem dropping back in trip. The consistent pair Oh This Is Us and Breton Rock (2016 winner) have each-way appeal.

Verdict

FENNAAN won on his return to the all-weather at Kempton, getting on top in the closing stages. A 3lb rise looks more than fair for John Gosden's gelding, and he has the potential for further improvement on artificial surfaces. George has been in excellent form of late, with two wins from his last three outings, and another bold bid is expected, while Victory Wave can be forgiven a poor effort at York.

Verdict

FENNAAN resumed winning ways back on the all-weather with a useful performance at Kempton last month, and he seems sure to give another good account after a small rise in the weights. Squats is feared on his Newbury success 2 starts ago, whilst Victory Wave can't have been right at York last time and had looked progressive prior to that.

Has improved in leaps and bounds and made it 4 wins in her last 5 starts in the March Stakes at Goodwood over 1¾m recently. Supplemented and could be set for a big run.

Verdict

LAH TI DAR put in a stunning performance to win the Listed Galtres Stakes at York by 10 lengths last month and she looks to be right out of the top drawer based on that evidence. The daughter of Dubawi obviously faces a tougher test today but her dam managed to beat the males at the highest level and she can do the same here. Kew Gardens went to the top of the ante-post markets for this race when beating Southern France and Nelson in the Queen's Vase at Royal Ascot. He was subsequently successful in the Group 1 Grand Prix de Paris but he has ground to find with Old Persian, who had previously won the King Edward VII, based on their meeting in the Great Voltigeur at York. Aidan O'Brien's colt is 2lb better off at these weights but that may not be enough to reverse the form. Loxley has progressed throughout 2018 but does have stamina to prove. Dee Ex Bee filled second spot in the Derby back in June and it wouldn't be the biggest surprise to see him pick up another Classic placing.

Verdict

LAH TI DAR looked top class when turning a listed race into a procession at York last month and she can keep her unbeaten record intact and give John Gosden a fourth win in 12 years in the final British Classic. Kew Gardens ran a big race under his Group 1-penalty behind Old Persian in the Voltigeur when left with plenty to do and has obvious claims. Loxley is preferred of the Godolphin pair.
