Scoop6 Saturday 18th August 2018

The tote scoop6 is a fantastic pool bet which gives you the chance to win a fortune for a £2 stake.

The challenge is to select all 6 winners from 6 races during Saturday meetings.

If you meet this challenge you will win a share of the scoop6 win fund, which is frequently worth over £1 million, and you will also get the chance to play for the scoop6 bonus fund by picking the winner of a race the following Saturday.

Even if you fail to select all six winners you can win a share of the scoop6 place fund if your selections place in each of the 6 races. Even this lower prize has paid out over £1000 per winner 11 times in the last 12 months. All this for a £2 stake!

Verdict

Mr Wagyu has winning C&D form to his name and should give it his best shot on the front end, though preference is for GIN IN THE INN, who needs to leave behind his recent efforts but has been dropped down to the same mark he struck off over track and trip in April. Although up 4lb for his Haydock victory, Hee Haw won off 4lb higher here last summer so remains well treated at his best.

Verdict

HEE HAW responded well to this headgear when off the mark for the season at Haydock 9 days ago and remains potentially well treated having won over this C&D off 4 lb higher last summer. His stablemate Related is another to consider, while any rain would make Quick Look a serious threat.

Created good impression winning first 2 starts, including Lingfield Oaks Trial in May. By no means disgraced in the Ribblesdale at Royal Ascot last time but improvement needed up in trip here.

Verdict

Hamada has few miles on the clock and dips his toe into Group waters after making it four from his last four with a Newmarket handicap demolition job. Together with Duke Of Edinburgh third Walton Street, he gives Charlie Appleby a strong hand, while Algometer and Dal Harraild drop in trip after good efforts behind leading stayers, but the three-year-olds will be hard to hold out. Perfect Clarity is a big player on her Lingfield Oaks Trial success, but RAYMOND TUSK was impressive at Hamilton and a similar performance here might well book his St Leger ticket.

Verdict

An emphatic winner of what looked a strong Newmarket handicap last time, HAMADA is expected to take this step up in class in his stride. Indeed, with just half-a-dozen runs under his belt he remains with potential and is more than likely a Group horse. Stablemate Walton Street and unexposed 3-y-o Raymond Tusk merit respect but bigger threats may be posed by Dal Harraild and Algometer.

AW maiden winner at 2 yrs and creditable third in 1m minor event at Kempton on final start of 2017. However, sizeable step forward needed if he's to play a leading role on this handicap debut.

Verdict

MYSTIC FLIGHT may have relinquished his unbeaten record but lost little else in defeat at Chelmsford, and the return to turf can enable him to resume winning ways. Sea Fox backed up a Lingfield triumph when battling well at Newmarket last week, while the upwardly-mobile Rogue took his game to a new level on the July Course and a further 6lb rise may not be all that harsh. His stablemate Zalshah overcame trouble in-running to prevail at Ffos Las, and Mizaah is interesting having switched from Kevin Prendergast to Owen Burrows during his time on the sidelines.

Verdict

A chance is taken on LA RAV, who has been absent for the best part of a year but he was largely progressive in 2017 and the booking of James Doyle suggests that connections mean business. Sabador is a big player judged on his solid effort in the Victoria Cup and Mizaah, another returning from a layoff, needs considering on debut for Owen Burrows. The unexposed Mystic Flight is also of interest.

Dual winner over 6f last season and much better for return when third at Windsor last month, leaving the impression the run would being him on further. Don't dismiss.

Verdict

The pick of Richard Fahey's quartet may be Stewards' Cup third Growl, who runs off the same mark, and recent Chester winner Kimberella. Narrow preference, however, is for TERUNTUM STAR, who won on this card 12 months ago and is rated only 1lb above his last winning mark. Course specialists Flying Pursuit and Pipers Note command plenty of respect, while Shanghai Glory would be a live contender if any rain arrived.

Verdict

A red-hot renewal of this famous sprint handicap and GOLDEN APOLLO is the one to be on. He ran a blinder behind revitalised-stablemate Flying Pursuit at York last time, the pair clear, and his turn could be here again now fitted with cheekpieces. Growl was a fine third in the Stewards' Cup and surely has one of these races in him. Dark Power, Kimberella and course-king Pipers Note are all feared.
