Scoop6 Friday 18th May 2018

The tote scoop6 is a fantastic pool bet which gives you the chance to win a fortune for a £2 stake.

The challenge is to select all 6 winners from 6 races during Saturday meetings.

If you meet this challenge you will win a share of the scoop6 win fund, which is frequently worth over £1 million, and you will also get the chance to play for the scoop6 bonus fund by picking the winner of a race the following Saturday.

Even if you fail to select all six winners you can win a share of the scoop6 place fund if your selections place in each of the 6 races. Even this lower prize has paid out over £1000 per winner 11 times in the last 12 months. All this for a £2 stake!

Made most of good opportunity when supplementing Goodwood Flat victory over timber at Uttoxeter (20f) in September. Never a threat final 2 starts in 2017 but returns for an in-form yard.

Verdict

THECLOCKISTICKING had some very solid novice hurdle form throughout last season and ended a fine campaign with a second behind Diese Des Bieffes at Cheltenham last month when benefiting from a return to good ground. That form, along with his efforts behind the likes of Vinndication and Claimantakinforgan, read very well so a handicap mark of 138 looks an attractive one. Stamp Your Feet may benefit from a return to a flatter track having been pulled up at Sandown last time and has a good piece of form at this track having placed behind Bags Groove here in October. Massini's Trap was third on that occasion and has a solid course record with this surface likely to suit more than soft ground here at the Grand National meeting last month.

Verdict

WHATZDJAZZ was better than ever when runner-up in a very competitive mares' handicap at Cheltenham last month and a 4 lb rise won't prevent a very bold bid to go one better. Eaton Hill also found only one too good in a strong C&D contest last time and is feared most, with Sternrubin likely to give it a good go from the front.

Verdict

ISSTOORA won with plenty in hand at Nottingham a week ago and that form has been boosted with the second running well in defeat at Wolverhampton on Monday. Archie Watson's filly has to carry a 6lb penalty for that effort but that still leaves her 6lb well-in. Vive La Difference remains a maiden but he should pick up a race sometime soon based on recent efforts, while Cliff Bay and Jacob Black are the pick of the remainder.

Verdict

A hot handicap that can go to VIVE LA DIFFERENCE, who ran well at Thirsk and who should get a good pace to aim at again. Isstoora and Whitkirk have both tasted success in the last week and are respected under their penalties.

2 wins from 6 runs this year. Career best when winning 8-runner handicap (11/1) at Musselburgh (12.5f, good) 15 days ago, keeping on well. This demands more.

Verdict

BOLDER BOB won pretty much as he liked over the extended 1m5f here last time and is 2lb well-in under a 6lb penalty. He gets the vote to edge out Star Of The East, who won gamely at Chester last week and is quickly bounced out before a 3lb rise comes into play. The lightly-weighted Theglasgowwarrior merits consideration representing the stable that won this contest in 2010, 2016 and 2017.

Verdict

BOLDER BOB resumed progress and looked well ahead of his mark when scoring over further here 12 days ago and, wisely turned out under a penalty, he is fancied to make a bold bid to follow up. Donnachies Girl caught the eye behind the selection and is feared granted her share of luck-in-running as is Rainbow Rebel under Joe Fanning.

Totally different proposition for Martin Todhunter, winning back-to-back handicaps at up to 20.5f in February. Perhaps unsuited by the drop-in trip last time, but this asks for more anyway.

Verdict

Sky Pirate showed a reasonable level of form in three starts under Rules last year for Jonjo O'Neill, while Black Sam Bella did it well on handicap bow after a break at Uttoxeter earlier this month. Lough Derg Farmer has a point to prove and wears first-time blinkers for Nicky Henderson, but this can go to the top-weight WHO'S MY JOCKEY. Suited by decent ground, the five-year-old arrives here a fresh horse after just one start so far in 2018 and looks poised to claim back-to-back victories.

Verdict

BLACK SAM BELLA proved a different proposition when making a successful handicap bow with plenty in hand at Uttoxeter 13 days ago, and she appeals as the sort that could run up a sequence now she's on the right path. My Old Gold remains one to be positive about, while Wemyss Point could have more to offer returning to this sphere.

Verdict

Montague struck the crossbar on his first five outings for David O'Meara before struggling at York on Wednesday and it would be no surprise to see him in the shake-up again here, similarly Kyllachy Dragon, who finished runner-up off the same mark at Doncaster last time. Preference, however, is for the returning ARMED RESPONSE, who has won and placed twice in three previous visits to this unique track and finished last season with two all-weather victories at Newcastle.

Verdict

It may pay to side with hat-trick seeking ARMED RESPONSE who not for the first time showed a game attitude under pressure when successful at Newcastle in December and for whom the subsequent absence if anything is a plus (won fresh twice previously). Kyllachy Dragon has a race of this nature in him, and along with Camacho Chief, heads the dangers.
