Scoop6 Friday 22nd June 2018

The tote scoop6 is a fantastic pool bet which gives you the chance to win a fortune for a £2 stake.

The challenge is to select all 6 winners from 6 races during Saturday meetings.

If you meet this challenge you will win a share of the scoop6 win fund, which is frequently worth over £1 million, and you will also get the chance to play for the scoop6 bonus fund by picking the winner of a race the following Saturday.

Even if you fail to select all six winners you can win a share of the scoop6 place fund if your selections place in each of the 6 races. Even this lower prize has paid out over £1000 per winner 11 times in the last 12 months. All this for a £2 stake!

Built on debut success when taking 11-runner Acomb Stakes at York last summer. Respectable sixth in Dante there on return and entitled to come on for that, though does have stamina to prove.

Verdict

Derby sixth Delano Roosevelt leads the Ballydoyle assault and the choice of Ryan Moore looks certain to play a part here, with none of his Epsom rivals in opposition this time. Stablemate Rostropovich will be looking to leave his French Derby disappointment behind him up in trip, however, it could be Aidan O'Brien's King George V Cup winner GIUSEPPE GARIBALDI who lands the spoils having impressed that day at Leopardstown and while still open to plenty of progression. Acomb Stakes winner Wells Farhh Go skipped the Derby following his Dante exploits, but has to be respected trying this distance for the first time, while Raa Atoll got the better of Elector at Nottingham and John Gosden's Sea The Stars colt should at least confirm the form here now searching for a hat-trick.

Verdict

OLD PERSIAN continues to go from strength to strength and his stamina remains an unopened door to progress, often shaping as though ready for this step up to 1½m, and he should make a bold bid. Raa Atoll looks highly progressive and is another to consider for team Gosden/Dettori, while Delano Roosevelt heads a 3-strong team from Ballydoyle.

Useful filly. 1¾ lengths fourth of 7 to Sioux Nation in Naas Group 3 last time. Likely to find a few too strong here.

Verdict

Charles Hills took the first ever running of this contest with Muhaarar in 2015 and looks to have the chance to become the first dual winner of this Group 1 event with his Prince Khalid Abdullah speedball EQUILATERAL, who relished encountering fast ground for the first time when routing the opposition by eight lengths at Doncaster. Leading Australian jockey James McDonald is in the saddle for what looks a huge step up in class, but the form of that Doncaster run has been franked by the runner-up subsequently winning twice and the son of Equiano appears a top level winner in waiting. Sioux Nation and Heartache were both winners at the Royal meeting last season and have to be respected, with the former looking strong at the distance when taking a Naas Group 3 last time. Sands Of Mali is unbeaten at three having scored in both a Chantilly Group 3 and the Group 2 Sandy Lane Stakes this term, and it would be no surprise to see him confirm Haydock form over Invincible Army and Emblazoned. Main Desire returned from 363 days off to get the better of Hey Jonesy and Roussel in the Westow Stakes at York and Michael Bell's filly could run well at bigger odds, providing the dreaded bounce factor doesn't rear its head.

Verdict

SIOUX NATION has a progressive record on going faster than good and can provide his trainer with a second successive winner in this race. Sands of Mali and Invincible Army are very closely matched on Sandy Lane form and this likeable pair look sure to give good accounts of themselves, while Equilateral and Emblazoned are lightly-raced sorts who have the potential for better still.

Bettered his hurdling form when sent chasing last season, making the frame first 3 starts. Stretched by longer trip back over hurdles but dropped out tamely over fences at Warwick since.

Bettered his hurdling form when sent chasing last season, making the frame first 3 starts. Stretched by longer trip back over hurdles but dropped out tamely over fences at Warwick since.

Verdict

AMORE ALATO was disappointing on his most recent start at Uttoxeter when down the field having been sent off a well-backed favourite. He has since had a wind operation, and the drop in trip combined with more forceful tactics can see him to best effect. Ballyvic Boru is unexposed over fences and could feasibly benefit from a step up in distance, while Seefood might go well after a 441-day-absence, hailing from a yard that does well with horses on the comeback trail.

Verdict

SEEFOOD has been off since falling in the Topham 14 months ago but fitness is rarely a concern with this stable and he's potentially well treated. Ballyvic Boru has taken well to fences and has more to offer still, while Amore Alato and Diable de Sivola were well backed in defeat last time.

Useful filly at 2 yrs, second of 10 to Billesdon Brook in Prestige Stakes at Goodwood the pick of her efforts. Narrow winner of minor event at Lingfield on return and others have achieved a lot more,

Verdict

ALPHA CENTAURI was runner-up in the Albany at this meeting 12 months ago and has taken her form to a new level since, winning the Irish 1,000 Guineas last month. Jessica Harrington's charge got on top late on last time and remains open to further improvement over a mile. Billesdon Brook won the English 1000 Guineas from Laurens, form which was boosted by Karl Burke's charge in the Prix de Diane last weekend, and is the one expected to put up most resistance, though unbeaten French filly Teppal also demands the utmost respect. At bigger prices, Anna Nerium is interesting on the back of her Group 3 second at Epsom, when she finished strongly from rear to go down by under a length at the line, albeit she was a well-held seventh in the 1000 Guineas previously.

Verdict

CLEMMIE became the first offspring of Galileo to win a Group 1 over 6f last season, and as a sister to dual-Guineas winner Churchill, she should have more to offer over 1m having shaped encouragingly on her return in the Irish 1000 Guineas. There was no fluke about Billesdon Brook's win in the Guineas at Newmarket and she has to be considered, while Threading makes each-way appeal at bigger odds.
