Ran up to her best with first-time hood added to blinkers when good second at Kempton on Tuesday, pulling clear of the remainder. Of particular interest turned out quickly.

Verdict

LISTEN TO THE MAN has to concede weight to her two rivals as she is penalised for win from the front at Wincanton when last sighted. However, a small field provides the Dan Skelton representative with an ideal tactical scenario to repeat the dose and she's preferred to the dropped-in-trip Braventara, who fell at Doncaster latest, and Canoodle, who is turned out quickly after finishing second at Kempton on Tuesday.

Verdict

CANOODLE showed her best form in this headgear combination at Kempton on Tuesday and she is of particular interest turned out quickly receiving weight all round. Listen To The Man made the most of the runner-up's late blunder last time and looks the danger.

No easy ride but opened hurdles account at Worcester (20f) last June. Respectable efforts after, but proved a disappointment on return from a break at Stratford last week.

Verdict

GARO DE JUILLEY pulled very hard but still won over track and trip last time and if the fitting of a first-time hood enables him to settle better, he may well be capable of following up. The likely lack of pace in this small field does remain a concern for him, however, and recent Ludlow maiden winner Ridgeway Flyer could feasibly put up plenty of resistance. Sand Blast hasn't offered much the last twice and comes with significant risk attached.

Verdict

RIDGEWAY FLYER is very much on an upward curve now, getting off the mark over hurdles in fine style at Ludlow in February, and he remains one to keep on the right side. Garo de Juilley again failed to settle last time, but still managed to win, so needs considering, also.

Rather hit-and-miss since opening her account in a Newton Abbott maiden hurdle almost 2 years ago, labouring a long way out over this C&D when last seen in February.

Verdict

ICANMOTOR went down by just a neck over 2m4f at Sedgefield when last sighted and although a subsequent 6lb rise in defeat is something of a kick in the teeth for Fergal O'Brien's veteran, in a race lacking in-form rivals, another big run from her likely beckons. Last-time-out Exeter third Lillian is the one that could give the selection most to think about, while Civitesses could build on her latest effort (fifth) over the extended 2m5f at Newton Abbot now granted this stiffer test.

Verdict

ICANMOTOR has the potential to build on a promising start for new handler Fergal O'Brien at Sedgefield earlier this month and this looks a good chance for her to finally notch a first career success. Lillian took a step back in the right direction at Exeter last week and gets the nod for the forecast spot.

Seemed to excel herself after 9 months off at Towcester last week, albeit having enjoyed the run of things in a race in which very few got competitive. Handicap debut.

Verdict

UJAGAR struck here in a C&D selling handicap hurdle last time and remains on a fair mark now debuting for Kevin Bishop. Distant Sound was far from disgraced when third over 2m3f on soft ground at Towcester last time and has place possibilities, while track and trip winner Osgood is expected to show up well now eased in grade and any market support for Peppay Le Pugh should also be noted as he finished runner-up over 2m at Uttoxeter latest.

Verdict

UJAGAR showed his first form for a while when winning a C&D selling event a fortnight ago and has a good chance of following up if in the same form for his new trainer. Frozen Over and Taurian are a couple of the other more likely sorts.

Limited impact in bumpers/over hurdles prior to 100/1 second at Uttoxeter (15.7f, final start for Tom Gretton) in July. Interesting what the market makes of him now chasing for new stable.

Verdict

POLO THE MUMM won at Newton Abbot off a hurdles mark of 98 last summer and is rated only 2lb higher over fences. A respectable third over 2m5f here on his return to chasing served notice that a return to winning ways was imminent for the seven-year-old. Jaunty Inflight makes some appeal on his hurdles second on his penultimate outing at Uttoxeter, while chase debutant Fine Jewellery, a solid hurdles second at the same Midlands track when last sighted last summer, is also worth a market check now returning from a 270-day absence.

Verdict

It's probably worth chancing JAUNTY INFLIGHT, who made a good start for his new yard late last year (successful over fences), and whose absence since Christmas suggests all might not have been well when last seen. Polo The Mumm, who shaped well over further here in January, and Fine Jewellery, on debut for Jamie Snowden, are next best.

Verdict

The Italian Yob has run well from the front over 2m5f the last twice but has faded in the closing stages. He'll need to draw on deeper reserves of stamina now stepped up in trip, so it may pay to side with GOLANOVA, who was narrowly behind the first-named at Fontwell last month but, by contrast, appeared to be tapped for toe in third. He may turn the tables on that rival now reopposing over this longer trip. Gold Mountain had no sort of race when unseating his rider at the second at Chepstow latest but he was sent off joint-favourite. It will thus be interesting to see if the money is down for him again.

Verdict

GOLD MOUNTAIN has a progressive profile and is well worth another chance to build on his promising chase debut here having been unfortunate not to complete next time. The Italian Yob can fill the runner-up spot again.
