Verdict

AQUADABRA needs to leave behind a disappointing effort at Bath when last sighted but she's bagged a low draw and makes stronger appeal on her third over the extended 5f at Bath on her penultimate outing. Navarra Princess has been knocking on the door over 7f and has place claims over this shorter trip, while any money for Irish raider Billyfairplay, who struck over this trip at Newcastle nine days ago, would also be notable.

Verdict

SILENTLY may be able to finally break her maiden in a race lacking in depth. She has shaped as though six furlongs may suit and she may improve for the first time blinkers. Cupid's Arrow makes appeal on his second run after wind surgery. Navarra Princess is more consistent than most and may prove best of the remainder.

Verdict

Capla Gilda has been in rude health in recent months, backing up her C&D victory with a pillar-to-post success over this trip at Lingfield last time. She could improve in re-fitted cheekpieces, though she does have a wide draw to overcome this evening. Narrow preference is thus for ELIEDEN, who is well drawn and doesn't have much to find with the selection on these terms. Sporting a first-time hood, the eased-in-grade Arthur's Spirit is another to consider.

Verdict

ELIEDEN didn't get the breaks at Leicester last time and she had been reasonably consitent prior to that run. A drop to selling company may see her finally get her head infront. Crucially, she is drawn better than the likely favourite Capla Gilda who has the widest berth to contend with which won't make life easy for her. Dinas Powys may show a bit more if she is quicker out of the stalls.

6/1, creditable second of 7 in handicap at Chelmsford City (5f) 13 days ago, no match for winner. Well drawn and consistent with Hollie Doyle taking over from a 7lb claimer.

Verdict

ANOTHER ANGEL arrives on a hat-trick and rates the one to beat now turned out under a penalty for his comfortable victory over this trip at Newcastle nine days ago. Red Stripes picked up some minor money off this mark at Chelmsford last time and is expected to show up well from the inside gate under Hollie Doyle. Broadhaven Honey bids to back up her recent victory at Brighton and could also finish on the premises, even though her apprentice rider (who was on board last time) has now ridden out his claim.

Verdict

SKY GYPSY has run with credit on her three visits to Wolverhampton and she may be able to spring a surprise returning to this venue after two disappointing turf runs. Another Angel is sure to go close in his search for a hat-trick. Red Stripes is consistent, has the lowest draw and Hollie Doyle taking over in the saddle so should be involved in the finish.

Verdict

Noble Expression has been off the track since landing a novice race at Chelmsford 323 days ago and is well worth a market check on his first start since undergoing wind surgery. With the benefit of a recent run to his name, however, recent Kempton third MAPPED may be a safer alternative. The return to the all-weather could suit King Kevin, while former Jeremy Noseda inmate Intrepidly debuts for a new stable and is interesting now eased into 0-85 company.

Verdict

MAPPED has run well at Kempton on his previous two starts and that form looks reasonably strong. The switch to Tapeta should pose no problems and he is expected to go very close. Charlie D has also been consistent on a synthetic surface and should continue his progression. Intrepidly is a very interesting runner on his debut for a new yard.

Verdict

JERSEY WONDER built on a solid debut at Salisbury when returning to the same track and following up in good fashion just over a week later. Jamie Osborne's team are in fine form at present and he looks capable of defying the penalty. Buriram has shown decent form in his two outings to date at Newmarket and Musselburgh, while Say The Word looks an interesting newcomer for Simon Crisford with his pedigree suggesting he will improve with age.

Verdict

SAY THE WORD makes significant appeal on his debut for a yard that introduced an impressive debut winner at this course last week. Jersey Wonder will pose the biggest threat after a comprehensive victory at Salisbury. Buriram may follow them home.

Verdict

WAR DEPARTMENT has done it well on Tapeta the last twice for Keith Dalgleish and looks tough to stop chasing the three-timer. The five-year-old still looks to be ahead of the handicapper, and the step back up to a mile is unlikely to deter him while in this frame of mind. Screaming Gemini ran a pleasing race on stable bow for David Brown when second here last week, while Summer Beach hasn't won since 2016 but has shaped with promise on this surface the last twice.

Verdict

EBBISHAM has a good record at this venue and he can be forgiven a lacklustre run at Newcastle last time out. A return to Wolverhampton combined with a step up in trip may be enough to see him winning once again. Black Salt may also appreciate the extra trip and had excuses at Newcastle. Barnay may outrun his likely odds on yard debut.
