Latest win at Lingfield in January. 5/1, respectable third of 9 in handicap at this C&D 7 days ago. Another fancied to remain competitive.

Verdict

ABE LINCOLN appears tough to oppose on his hat-trick bid and Jeremy Noseda's versatile course winner can play the starring role once again here. Road To Dubai finished last year's turf season in fine form and is another in search of a long-awaited three-timer. C Note is a solid option, while Kreb's Cycle has place claims from the foot of the handicap.

Verdict

ABE LINCOLN has looked as good as ever since the turn of the year, showing a useful turn of foot to score at Lingfield 18 days ago, and he can complete the hat-trick. Kreb's Cycle and Road To Dubai may emerge next best.

Verdict

AKKADIAN EMPIRE thrived round here when scoring last time and there should be more to come now back up in trip to a mile and a half. He is just 2lb higher now and that should allow him to play a leading role once again. A hood could assist the returning Overhaugh Street as he attempts to go one better than his second when last seen in September, while Theglasgowwarrior is another northern raider to consider.

Verdict

THEGLASGOWWARRIOR had his winning run ended at Newcastle last time, but in truth it was actually a cracking effort in 0-85 company, so he should take some stopping back in this grade. Yensir failed to justify heavy support on debut for Olly Murphy a fortnight ago but has to be feared, with Tidal Watch another to consider.

Below form in 2018, including over hurdles last time. Others preferred.

Verdict

CAPTAIN GEORGE won over this course and distance last time and can follow up here from just 2lb higher for the shrewd Michael Blake. Amadeus Rox has threatened to land a prize like this and has top assistance in the saddle with Tom Marquand aboard, while Katie Gale has been on the premises of late on Polytrack and could play a leading part if handling Tapeta.

Verdict

An open handicap with ROCK'N GOLD selected to come out on top. Adrian Wintle's charge did enough over C&D last month to suggest he’s potentially well treated from this mark. Katie Gale has made a good start for her current yard and should remain competitive, while Captain George goes well here so has to be respected in his follow-up bid.

Verdict

BREATHLESS TIMES built on his debut second over this trip at Kempton when landing a novice contest over C&D last time and is expected to take another forward step. Kion is rated 84 on official figures and commands plenty of respect on the back of his own victory in a C&D novice sprint. Jack Taylor is going the right way but has an absence to overcome, while Q Twenty Boy is fully entitled to come on for this debut spin.

Verdict

KION made the perfect start for his new yard over C&D when wearing down a fairly useful rival. There should be plenty more to come from him and he's selected to follow up at the main expense of Breathless Times.

Verdict

IFUBELIEVEINDREAMS travelled powerfully when scoring by four lengths over 1m at Newcastle last time out and is expected to follow up back at this shorter trip, over which she was successful at Chelmsford in November. Made Of Honour is only 3lb higher than when winning over 1m at Lingfield last time and is unlikely to go down without a fight as she arrives on a hat-trick. C&D winner Bint Arcano is also worth a market check now eased in grade.

Verdict

MADE OF HONOUR boasts a progressive profile and should continue to head in the right direction. Others to mention include Ifubelieveindreams and Rose Berry.

Verdict

SATCHVILLE FLYER has been knocking hard on the door in recent weeks and he can be supported to earn his 10th career victory this evening. The King's Steed bounced back to form when finishing third at Chelmsford last month and he may have more to offer in a pair of first-time blinkers. Joys Delight was poor when last seen but she is a player based on her previous form.

Verdict

SOCIETY RANGER won a C&D handicap with plenty in hand from this mark last summer, and this is easier than the Irish races he's contested this year, so he looks the way to go. Satchville Flyer is frustrating, but should be a big factor at this level, with Golden Eye completing the shortlist.

Verdict

A tricky race to close the card but the marginal preference is for LIVING LEADER, who arrives here having been beaten just a neck over 1m at Kempton last month. That form has been boosted with the winner scoring again subsequently and the fourth has also won since. Lord Murphy is another who has been running well of late and he should be in the mix once again today. Others to note are Final Attack and Multiviz.

Verdict

LORD MURPHY has been running consistently well from a reduced mark of late and looks to hold obvious claims of getting his head back in front. Living Leader and Multiviz are next best.
