Verdict

DE LITTLE ENGINE has impressed the last twice and the C&D winner is backed to follow up that track success her under a 6lb penalty to land the hat-trick. Charleston Belle is another to win well here lately and is also penalised now up in trip to seven furlongs, while Herm is a C&D winner and is beginning to look feasibly treated again.

Verdict

DE LITTLE ENGINE is in the form of his life and a 6lb penalty is lenient given his margin of victory over C&D last week and he should take all the beating under his promising apprentice. Charleston Belle is another carrying a penalty that should be considered. Herm has been running creditably over C&D and may prove best of the rest.

Foaled February 14. €27,000 yearling, Fast Company filly. Dam, 6f winner, half-sister to smart 1m winner Duntle.

Verdict

Mick Channon has been in red-hot form with his youngsters this term and his Bungle Inthejungle filly JUNGLE JUICE can get off the mark at the third attempt, having been beaten just a head at Goodwood before a good third at Wetherby on her first try at seven furlongs. Barasti Dancer relished the step up in trip when second at Musselburgh last time and appears the obvious danger, with the consistent Pot Luck and Simon Crisford's Al Mortajaz, who is wearing a first-time tongue-tie, also noted.

Verdict

JUNGLE JUICE has the best chance in what doesn't look the deepest of events. The form of her Wetherby race isn't the strongest looking but it should be enough to see off her rivals unless there are any significant improvers lurking. Barasti Dancer and Al Mortajaz look like being the biggest dangers.

Verdict

ARABIAN COAST found the company too hot in the Jersey Stakes but makes more appeal on his preceding maiden victory at Leicester. Saeed bin Suroor's charge bolted up by four lengths on that occasion and is interesting now lowering his sights. Nakhaytak makes some appeal on his Doncaster second in June and has place possibilities, while any money for George Scott's newcomer, Crash Helmet, would be worth heeding.

Verdict

ARABIAN COAST has what seems like a penalty kick. An impressive maiden winner, he then ran down the field in the Jersey at Royal Ascot. Both efforts are significantly better than anything in this field has achieved and some have very slim chances of ever getting near that form. The newcomer Bubbly is an interesting debutante for her talented handler. Crash Helment is another newcomer to note.

Verdict

INDIAN TYGRESS knuckled down well to get off the mark at the first time of asking over this trip at Doncaster and is taken to defy a penalty to make it two wins from two starts. Enthaar sports a tongue-tie on debut but is expected to show up well for Simon Crisford, though the main danger to the selection may be Emphatic, an experienced sort in the context of this race who attracted support when second at Catterick last time.

Verdict

INDIAN TYGRESS sets a high standard after her victory at Doncaster back in April. She should have no problems with this surface and she's well drawn so should take all the beating. Emphatic is her biggest danger after a series of consistent efforts. Of the newcomers, Aaliya makes most appeal.

5/1, career best when winning 6-runner handicap at Catterick (6f, good to firm) 7 days ago, doing better under change of tactics. 8lb higher now including 6lb penalty. The one to beat.

Verdict

SUPER FLORENCE did it smartly when 2lb well-in at Catterick last time out and looks set to enjoy further success here now back on Tapeta. Connections have opted to get the three-year-old out quickly before the assessor issues further punishment and a mark of 65 still looks fair for Iain Jardine's charge. Spring Romance's winning run came to an end last time but she should be suited by the return to a synthetic surface, while Laubali could prove best of the remainder.

Verdict

SUPER FLORENCE is undoubtedly the one to beat under her penalty after a 7-length romp at Catterick last week. She's been 2nd over C&D before and faces a small field so can add to her tally. Spring Romance drops back down in grade and is a danger. Lubali is best of the rest.

Verdict

PENNY POET has shown enough to win one of these and could defy a 3lb rise for another consistent effort at Lingfield last time out. First-time cheekpieces and a first attempt at 2m could prove to be the catalyst for the five-year-old, who has performed well here on Tapeta in the past. Crindle Carr took advantage of a low mark to win at Kempton latest and is noted, while Giovanni Medici showed good form on his only start this season when second back in April.

Verdict

AVA THE BRAVER is worth chancing in a low grade staying handicap. She has more scope to improve than some in this field and gets plenty of weight from more exposed rivals. Crindle Carr has a good chance of going close once again after a win at Kempton. Penny Poet is another one to consider.
