100/1, sixth of 10 in handicap at Catterick (5f, good to firm) 14 days ago. Plenty to find on form.

Verdict

This looks the perfect opportunity for Ruth Carr's KIBAAR to land another victory having been in fine form the last twice. He was denied by just a head when looking to make it two from two last time and can gain compensation. Aguerooo is clearly much more effective on the all-weather, but can't be completely underestimated having gone close last time, while Celerity has to be respected on current form.

Verdict

KIBAAR was arguably unlucky not to follow up his recent Ayr success there last week and remains one to be interested in at this level. Aguerooo caught the eye at Chelmsford last time and is next best ahead of Assassinate.

Verdict

William Jarvis' QUEEN CONSTANTINE hasn't been disgraced in two starts so far and that experience should stand her in good stead in a winnable heat. She steps up in trip once again to a mile this time and is open to stacks more improvement. David Simcock's 34,000 euros yearling Red Bunting could be the pick of the newcomers, with Archie Watson's Lawman filly Dinastia also interesting.

Verdict

DINASTIA hails from a yard that can ready a newcomer and is preferred to the other debutante Red Bunting before market clues.

Verdict

ENCRYPTION is just 2lb higher than when beaten half a length at Doncaster latest and the High Chaparral gelding should have more to offer. Special Mission has blinkers tried as she returns to turf after two respectable all-weather outings, while Go Fox and the Cheveley Park filly Voluminous are also considered, with the latter expected to appreciate the step back up in trip.

Verdict

ENCRYPTION shaped well from a less-than-ideal position when runner-up at Doncaster and remains one to be interested in with further improvement likely. Go Fox and Special Misson are others to consider.

Temperamental sort. Didn't need to improve to win 9-runner handicap at this C&D (good, 5/1) 12 days ago. Vulnerable up 4 lb in this tougher race.

Verdict

LUNAR DEITY has risen just 1lb for his win over an extra furlong here earlier this month and, having won over a similar trip in the past and possessing a fantastic record at this venue, he must rate as the one to beat. Castle Talbot looks to follow up his course and distance win from a 4lb higher rating, with Newmarket winner Trulee Scrumptious holding her form admirably at present.

Verdict

LUNAR DEITY remains feasibly treated having gone up just 1 lb for his recent victory here and appears more likely than most to give his running. Tripartite is lurking on a dangerous mark and would've been top of the list if a strong end-to-end gallop were assured. However, this has the makings of a tactical affair and Trulee Scrumptious, who is the most likely pace angle, is feared most.

Twice-raced maiden. 5/4, fifth of 9 in maiden at Newmarket (7f, good) 54 days ago. Drop in trip will probably aid her cause and big chance if now building on debut promise.

Verdict

CHOCO BOX has displayed plenty of ability in two stronger races at Newmarket and Ed Vaughan's filly can open her account at the third time of asking. Point Zero has earned a rating of 74 with efforts such as his neck defeat at Redcar and he rates the biggest threat, ahead of penalised Lingfield scorer Gratified. Catapult seemingly has it all to do.

Verdict

CHOCO BOX was ultimately disappointing at Newmarket in June given the promise of her debut effort at the same course 19 days earlier. However, she's well worth another chance now dropped to 6f and earns the vote ahead of Point Zero, who shaped well on debut for this yard at Redcar and should also benefit from going back in trip. Gratified is unexposed but has more on his plate under a penalty.

C&D winner. Latest win at Chelmsford City in June. Very good second of 6 in handicap at Leicester (7f, good to firm, 12/1) 27 days ago, doing too much too soon. Solid claims.

Verdict

Right at the foot of the weights, GARTH ROCKETT rates the one to beat. Brendan Powell's charge brings C&D-winning form to the table and he posted a cracking effort when narrowly beaten at Leicester last time. Viscount Loftus has also proven himself at the track and he warrants respect dropped in class, while Colonel Frank is unlikely to be far away either.

Verdict

GARTH ROCKETT was successful over C&D on his sole previous visit here in 2017 and is taken to maintain his 100% record at this course having found just one too strong at Leicester last time. Majestic Moon isn't the easiest to win with nowadays but he hit the crossbar here off a higher mark 3 starts back and is preferred to Human Nature for forecast purposes.

Verdict

TOPMEUP certainly showed no signs of stopping when scoring over 7f here last Thursday and a 6lb penalty might not be enough to anchor her if arriving in the same mood. Cool Echo has struck the crossbar on her last couple of starts and is likely to be on the premises again, while Sharp Operator, Big Bad Lol and Molten Lava are other respected players.

Verdict

The consistent SHARP OPERATOR gets the nod back in trip here after finishing a creditable fourth over 1¼m at Chelmsford recently. The drying ground won't be an issue for Charlie Wallis' charge, whereas it may hinder Topmeup, who would otherwise be very appealing under a penalty following her clear-cut victory here last week. Shyarch is also a live contender and Big Bad Lol merits respect, too.
