ABOUT RIDE OF THE MONTH
Each month we will select the most impressive rides and give you the opportunity to cast your vote and crown the winning jockey. The jockey with the most votes will win a £500 cash prize*, plus they’ll also receive their own engraved ROTM Trophy.
The winning jockey will not only receive a £500 cash prize, but they’ll also be given the opportunity to choose from one of four key industry charities, and we’ll donate £500 to the charity they have selected.
The Injured Jockeys Fund
The IJF provide assistance to over a thousand jockeys who have suffered through injury and are unable to ride.
Irish Injured Jockeys
Irish Injured Jockeys raises funds and increases awareness of the requirement for public funding to provide for our injured jockeys. Irish Injured Jockeys works with individual cases and also supports The Jockeys Emergency Fund, The Drogheda Memorial Fund and The Irish Jockeys Trust.
Retraining of Racehorses (RoR)
RoR is British horseracing’s official charity for the welfare of horses who have retired from racing.
Racing Welfare is a charity that helps racing people in need, with support and advice on injuries, accidents, housing, benefits and pensions for staff who work in the industry.
Register your vote for ROTM and you’ll automatically be entered into a free monthly prize draw to win one of five £50 funded accounts courtesy of Paddy Power . Have your say and vote on attheraces.com and be in with a chance of winning this fantastic prize.
