GARY MOORE can look forward to trying to plunder another Grade 1 Chase at Ascot on Saturday with Ar Mad and Sire De Grugy both entered for the Clarence House Chase at Ascot and with over £313,000 and 23 winners in the bag already this term it is business as usual for the ever industrious Horsham trainer.

Sire De Grugy, who had his crowning moment when taking the Queen Mother Champion Chase at the Cheltenham Festival in 2014 has comeback with spring in his step this season and Antony got stable well under way when landing the Sodexo Gold Cup at Ascot in October.

Traffic Fluide ran a highly creditable race when third to Un De Sceaux on his only start last season in the aforementioned Clarence House Chase and is set to resume in the Game Spirit at Newbury and there are some interesting younger horses in the shape of Benatar, Not Another Muddle, Not Never and Royal Hall that will ensure that Moore's days are kept full.

Gary kindly spoke to Tony Elves of ATR about his jumping team that he hopes will prosper in the next few months

ANTONY
7 b g Walk In The Park - Melanie Du Chenet

136 rated chaser. Winner of his first two starts this season at Fontwell (2m 5f) and Ascot (3m) in October. Scored by four and a half lengths from Junction Fourteen off a mark of 128 on the second occasion.
"He has just back after a break and goes to Ascot for the 2m 5f handicap chase. He was going to go to Kempton last week but wasn't quite ready for that. He is looking good now and he travels well enough to cope with two miles five on a stiff track."

AR MAD
7 b g Tiger Groom - Omelia

163 rated chaser. Finished fourth, beaten four lengths, to Un De Sceaux in the Grade 1 Tingle Creek Chase at Sandown (1m 7 1/2f) on his reappearance in December.
"All being well he runs in the Clarence House Chase on Saturday. He was impressive first time back after a long layoff and I couldn't be more pleased with him at home since. Hopefully, he has improved since and I am sure he will give a good account of himself at Ascot."

BARON ALCO
6 ch g Dom Alco - Paula

143 rated chaser. Winner of two novice chases at Plumpton (2m 3 1/2f) in November and (2m 1f) in January. On second occasion beating Solatentif two and a half lengths.
"He has done nothing wrong all year with two wins and a second and third. He won his novice chase quite well the other day at Plumpton and he was very brave. He probably won't run next until the Scilly Isles at Sandown and then I wouldn't know yet what he would go for at Cheltenham. He is out of the handicap right now but he could go for the two mile five handicap and he is qualified for the bonus."

BENETAR
5 b g Beneficial - Carrigeen Lily

Winner of his only point-to-point and made a winning debut over hurdles at Fontwell (2m 3f) this month.
"He is a lovely horse who has only ran the once for us but is a chaser in the making. I was very impressed with him at Fontwell the other day as he did everything wrong and still managed to win. He will run in the Sydney Banks at Huntingdon next time."

BRITANIO BELLO
6 b g Irish Wells - Tchi Tchi Bang Bang

115 rated chaser. Unplaced in novice handicap chases at Lingfield (2m) in December and Bangor (2m 4 1/2f) in January.
"He is a horse we all thought quite a lot of but he has been disappointing so far. I hope he will come right and I am going to drop him back to two miles as he looked like he didn't stay the other day but I can't have that either."

CAPSIS DESBOIS
5 b g Apsis - Gesse Parade

106 rated hurdler. Pulled up when breaking blood vessel in handicap hurdle at Huntingdon (2m 3 1/2f) on Friday
"He had done well up until Huntingdon last week but is a chaser in the making. He will be better over fences. He is one to follow as he can only improve."

CASSE TETE
5 b g Poliglote - Ellapampa

134 rated chaser. Winner over fences in France and beaten when fell two out in a novices' chase at Lingfield (2m 7 12/f) last week.
"He is a lovely horse and we ran him over a trip at Lingfield the other day thinking he would stay but he didn't really get the trip. He wasn't as fit as I would have liked him either but he travelled strongly for two and a half miles and then just had a tired fall. We think a lot of him and he will run in the novice handicap chase at Cheltenham but he must have soft ground."

CRYSTAL LAD
5 ch g Kapgarde - Qrystale Mag

125 rated hurdler. Finished third, beaten 11 lengths, to Burbank in a handicap hurdle at Huntingdon (2m) on Friday.
"He is a nice horse and had been slightly disappointing until running a reasonable race at Huntingdon last week. Hopefully, he can only improve and he is qualified for the EBF Final at Sandown now."

DAREBIN
5 ch g It's Gino - Delightful Sofie

123 rated hurdler. Successful in a handicap hurdle at Lingfield (2m) in November when beating Third Act two and a quarter lengths.
"He has been a slightly disappointing horse and he ran a funny race at Lingfield the other day and is kind of an enigma. He hasn't been consistent with his form and hopefully when he goes over fences he will make a better job of it then."

EARLY DU LEMO
4 gr g Early March - Kiswa

Winner of a hurdle race in France in November
"He is a nice horse and he is one out of one over hurdles in France. He came over the other day and he looks a very nice horse. Hopefully, he will go to Newbury on Wednesday or Ascot on Saturday."

EAST INDIES
4 b g Authorized - Elan

117 rated hurdler. Winner over hurdles at Plumpton (2m) in September and creditable third, beaten nine and a quarter lengths, to Rainbow Dreamer at Fontwell (2m 1 1/2f) in December.
"He is a horse we like a lot and it has taken us long time to teach him to be a racehorse. He won when winning first time out but beat nothing then we overfaced him at Cheltenham which he couldn't handle. We ran him at Fontwell last time and we held him up and he has started to give in to us last time. I think he can start to improve now."

FLASHMAN
8 ch g Doyen - Si Si Si

101 rated chaser. Finished third, beaten five and a quarter lengths, to Baraza in a novices handicap chase at Leicester (2m) last week.
"He is in the grip of the handicapper and could be a bit quicker over his fences but he is Flat bred and is always likely to bump into a National Hunt type horse. He jumps well but looks after himself."

GORES ISLAND
11 b g Beneficial - Just Leader

124 rated chaser. Highly creditable effort when third, beaten two and a quarter lengths, to Mercian Prince in a handicap chase at Sandown (2m 4f) this month off a mark of 119.
"He ran a great race the other day and got a bit too enthusiastic when he hit the front. When he gets to the front he tends to pull up but he is a good solid consistent horse who never runs a bad race."

GRAASTEN
5 ch g Sholokhov - Golden Time

122 rated hurdler. Successful in a maiden hurdle at Plumpton (2m) in October when beating Alberta three lengths.
"He is a nice horse and he is just having a break. He wants decent ground and soon as the ground come good he will run. He has a lot of potential and could go further than the two miles we have been running him over. He should jump fences as well."

KAVEMAN
5 b g Kayf Tara - Megalex

Unplaced when even money favourite for a bumper at Warwick on Saturday.
"He is a lovely horse and ran at Warwick for us on Saturday but didn't come up to expectations. He comes from a stout family and he is a horse we like a lot so hopefully he can step up markedly on his debut effort next time."

KING COOL
6 b g King's Theatre - Cool Spice

116 rated hurdler. Unplaced in handicap hurdles at Lingfield, Towcester and Kempton in November and December.
"He has disappointed us but didn't run a bad race last time. He will probably go to Wincanton next time."

KNIGHTLY PLEASURE
6 b m Kayf Tara - Kim Fontenail

108 rated hurdler. Winner of a Fontwell bumper in April of last year and best effort over hurdles when runner-up, beaten seven lengths, to Grace Tara at Lingfield (2m 3 1/2f) in November.
"She is a nice mare who made a noise when she ran the other day. She had an epiglotis entrapment and she ran a good race with a problem like that. She is a obviously a talented filly who will want soft ground and is worth waiting for."

KRUGERMAC
6 b g Kalanisi - Vindonissa

119 rated hurdler. Scored by eight lengths from He's A Charmer in a maiden hurdle at Ascot (2m 3 1/2f) in November 2015. Unplaced in a handicap hurdle at Sandown (2m) this month off a mark of 122.
"He is a horse we like a lot and he had his first run the other day after a year off on slow ground at Sandown. His target will be race like the Tote Gold Trophy if he gets in it. We will get him out but he does want decent ground."

LA PAIMPOLAISE
5 b m Linda's Lad - Medievale

107 rated hurdler. Well beaten three starts this season including when pulled up latest.
"She is a total enigma. She is a lovely mare but I can't get her to play a tune for me. She may go back to France to be trained there."

LIGHT OF AIR
4 b g Youmzain - Height of Vanity

104 rated hurdler. Unplaced in hurdles at Sandown (twice) and Newbury.
"He has been very disappointing so far and we might send him back on the Flat."

LOUP DE LOUVRE
5 b g Turtle Bowl - Signe De La Louve

128 rated hurdler. Winner over hurdles in France in March of last year.
"He is a lovely horse who has had lots of niggly problems hence we haven't been able to run him yet. He is a horse you can keep and eye on as we think a lot of him. He will go in handicap hurdles we he comes back."

NOT ANOTHER MUDDLE
6 b g Kayf Tara - Spatham Rose

Runner-up in his bumper at Fontwell in November 2015 and pleasing comeback over hurdles at Plumpton on Monday when runner-up to Kings Walk.
"He is a nice horse and he ran a blinder at Plumpton on Monday on his first run after a long layoff. He is a horse who hopefully has a huge future."

NOT NEVER
5 ch g Notnowcato - Watchoverme

Finished fourth, beaten, 15 lengths, to Bastien at Plumpton on Monday. Runner-up on the Flat off a mark of 93 at Newbury (1m 4f) in September and Salisbury (1m 6f) in October when trained by Hugo Palmer.
"He seems quite a nice horse and he ran at Plumpton on Monday where he shaped promisingly when fourth on his hurdling debut. He should improve for that experience."

ROYAL HALL
5 b g Halling - Royal Fantasy

Runner-up in a hurdle race in France in October.
"He is another horse who has come from France who showed huge potential in his one run over hurdles. Hopefully, he can do the same over here."

SIRE DE GRUGY
11 ch g My Risk - Hirlish

166 rated chaser. Winner of the 2014 Queen Mother Champion Chase and the Grade 1 Tingle Creek Chase in 2015. Returned to winning form when beating Quite By Chance a length and a half at Ascot (2m 1f) in November off a mark of 160 and beaten only a length by Un De Sceaux in the Tingle Creek Chase at Sandown in December. Unseated rider second in the Desert Orchid Chase at Kempton in December.
"What more can say about him. He speaks for himself and he is in great form and had a bit of a blip last time when unseating. He came back and won at Ascot and then ran a great race behind Un De Sceaux in the Tingle Creek. He will either go for the Clarence House or the Game Spirit."

SISANIA
4 r/gr f Mastercraftsman - Avril Rose

101 rated hurdler. Scored by a length and three from Marmont in a maiden hurdle at Fontwell (2m 1 1/2f) in September.
"I was slightly disappointed with her last time and she is on a break at the moment. We came straight off the flat and brought her jumping and she may just have had enough. We will bring her back later."

TEMPLIER
4 b g Mastercraftsman - Tigertail

Scored by eight lengths from Jam Session in hurdling bow at Plumpton (2m) in December and fourth, beaten 29 lengths, to Divin Bere in the Chatteris Fen Hurdle at Huntingdon (2m) on Friday.
"He surprised me when winning first time and could only win like he did but could only finish fourth in a much tougher contest at Huntingdon last week. He jumps well and we will look for something a little easier next time."

TRAFFIC FLUIDE
7 b g Astaradbad - Petale Rouge

154 rated chaser. Finished highly creditable third in the Grade 1 Clarence House Chase at Ascot (2m 1f) in January of last year when finishing third, beaten five lengths, to Un De Sceaux on only start last season.
"He is a horse we absolutely love but he has been plagued with niggly problems and only had the one run last year. That run was full of promise and he is entered in the Ryanair and the Champion Chase. He runs in the Game Spirit all being well."

VIKEKHAL
8 b g Khalevi - Gesse Parade

122 rated chaser. Scored by seven lengths from Brownville in a handicap chase at Warwick (3m 1 1/2f) in November off a mark of 117.
He was very disappointing last time and made a noise with his wind. We had him scoped and he was another with an epiglotis entrapment. It is amazing to have two horses with the same problem at the same time and he is now back on the road to recovery."

YUKON DELTA
10 ch g Old Vic - Red Fern

97 rated chaser and 98 rated hurdler. Enjoyed back to back wins in handicap hurdles at Plumpton (2m 4 1/2f) in October (beating Oskar's Eva a head) and at Fontwell (3m 1 1/2f) in November (scored by seven lengths from Guiting Power) off marks of 85 and 92.
"He is a tough little horse and he is probably now in the hands of the handicapper. He is finding it hard to win and to be honest the only one who seems to be able to ride him now is Josh. He probably won't run until Josh is back."

ZANTE
5 ch g Zanzibari - Calling All Angels

107 rated hurdler. Off the mark over hurdles at Plumpton in April of last year when beating Welluptoscratch a length.
"He is horse who had a little bit of a problem earlier in the season but he is back now and is due to run any day soon. He is ground dependent and wants good ground but he could be very well handicapped. He might get further than two miles now."

THE KNOWLEDGE
ANTONY - winner of the Sodexo Chase at Ascot in October and has other wins in the locker.

NOT ANOTHER MUDDLE - ran a blinder at Plumpton on Monday and can soon go one better.
SIRE DE GRUGY - flagbearer for the stable that hasn't lost the winning taste.
TRAFFIC FLUIDE - could be another stable star if niggly problems subside.
