CARNAGE ran well recently against older rivals over this trip and should fare better back against his own age group. LANZA did well to finish 4th afterracing handy from a wide draw last time. He has another wide gate to negotiate but has shown enough at this level to make his presence felt. CARLAS MAMBO should also be in the mix if overcoming a wide draw. Respect SEATTLE KID.
Hard to assess. EARL OF WARWICK is better over further but could feature prominently racing fresh. HEAD OF THE PACK has improved when racing with blinkers and should give another honest account. On that evidence, she will be better suited to this trip and with natural progress can go one better. Youngster YOLTA ran well in open company last time last time and can pose a threat. BELL JAR and RIVER INN have more to offer.
Good race. A NEW DAWN showed his class despite racing only twice as 3yo. Hesets the standard on exposed form and could take a power if race ready, butmust prove his fitness after a lengthy layoff. Stable companion MORNING CATCH but also resumes after a rest. Both COMMANDER BOND and HEMMINGWAY are model of consistency who should be competitive. WHAT A SUMMER has a chance too.
High-class speedster DUTCH PHILIP won a valuable sales race on Met day but is no stranger to competing his elders and, if race ready, could account forthese rivals. SILICONE VALLEY is probably at his best over this trip and racing fresh, so he could make his presence felt. Admirable 8yo TEVEZ continues to run well and is best treated by these conditions. POWER GRID can earn.
PARISIAN GOLD and HUNDREDS have flattered to deceive but could fulfill their promise now after gelding - their progress must be monitored. JAILHOUSE ROCK ran out of puff on his comeback but should improve with that run under his belt. ROOM AT THE TOP should also strip fitter and may have more to offer over this trip. ONE LIFE LIVE IT has earning potential.
A number of these renew rivalry after PERFECTPROPORTIONS finished ahead of STAR BURST and that rival's stable companion EXPEDITE.
