WELCOME to our Eyecatchers column. Every week Alan Thomson pinpoints horses primed to strike in the next few weeks, if not days. Remember, you can add Alan's weekly updates to your ATR Tracker.

SENZA UNA DONNA ATR Tracker
(Chepstow, 10 September)
Stepped up to a mile for his handicap debut, Senza Una Donna made a mockery of his 60 rating. Never breaking sweat, the son of Sir Percy scored with plenty in hand as he strolled home from drifting morning favourite Battle Of Bosworth. Hughie Morrison sent him to Southwell for his previous start, but he was well beaten by Time Warp. Considering the winner went on to lift a Listed event in France off 96, in hindsight it wasn't such a bad Fibresand effort from Senza Una Donna.

WHOOPSY DAISY ATR Tracker
(Lingfield, 12 September)
Still a maiden after eight starts, Whoopsy Daisy had shown a decent level of form on her previous visits to Lingfield so it was no real surprise to see Luke Dace's filly outrun her 14-1 odds. Always travelling strongly, Whoopsy Daisy was tightened up on the home turn but still looked the likely winner when nipping up the inside. However, the far rail isn't the best place to be at Lingfield and she was cut down close home by wide-challenging favourite Saraha.

PERIL ATR Tracker
(Doncaster, 12 September)
Simon Crisford's gelding seemed to find this straight mile stretching his stamina to snapping point. Peril was still moving nicely enough two out only to fade into eighth behind Bronze Angel. Progressive Peril racked up a hat-trick of wins this summer over seven furlongs at Haydock, Ascot and Wolverhampton, and he is worth another chance when reverting to that specialist distance.

MISTER ROCKANDROLL ATR Tracker
(Musselburgh, 12 September)
Tough and durable, Mister Rockandroll was having his 15th start since late February and, on this evidence, he is still holding his form well. Mark Johnston equipped his three-year-old with a first-time visor and Mister Rockandroll was settled further off the pace than is usual, eventually running through into third behind stablemate Adele and Agent Gibbs. A winner at Chelmsford in March, he may well revert to the all-weather if it turns unsuitably soft on the turf.

THIS IS FOR YOU ATR Tracker
(Chester, 12 September)
Has shown a liking for easy underfoot conditions so that should stand Andrew Balding's colt in good stead throughout the autumn. This Is For You, raised 2lb for winning a modest Chepstow maiden, found Richard Fahey's Powerallied too hot to handle but there is probably another race in the son of Paco Boy.

MIKANDY ATR Tracker
(Bath, 12 September)
A dual winner at Kempton and November last November, Mikandy has transferred that form to the turf in a light campaign, scoring on fast ground at Nottingham in June. Now rated 80, Clive Cox's filly ran into a well handicapped rival in Goathland but she stuck on gamely when headed over a furlong out to finish third.
