WELCOME to our Eyecatchers column. Every week Alan Thomson pinpoints horses primed to strike in the next few weeks, if not days. Remember, you can add Alan's weekly updates to your ATR Tracker.

DIAMOND LADY ATR Tracker
(Lingfield, 19 November)
Never in the hunt behind Barracuda Boy, but stayed on steadily into fifth. Considering she was out of the handicap and her rider put up 2lb overweight, this wasn't a bad effort. Diamond Lady scored on fast ground at Nottingham in June when sent off a 20-1 chance and she could pop up again at a nice price.

KERROW ATR Tracker
(Market Rasen, 20 November)
Alan King's bumper horses invariably improve for a run and Kerrow has the potential to make up into a nice sort for owner Trevor Hemmings. The four-year-old met a useful sort in favourite Desilvano, an excellent second on his debut at Ascot, and Kerrow pulled nicely clear of the third.

GONE FOREVER ATR Tracker
(Market Rasen, 20 November)
Brian Ellison was waxing lyrical about his lightly-raced four-year-old after Gone Forever had destroyed his rivals once given his head between the last two flights. The ground was also testing when Gone Forever won a Catterick bumper in the winter and the deeper the better for this improving gelding.

PATRIOTIC ATR Tracker
(Wolverhampton, 21 November)
Wouldn't win many rosettes for consistency, but this was one of the six-year-olds better efforts as he chased home market leaders Dream Child and Ghazi over the extended 1m 1f trip. Patriotic, a winner on the Fibresand at Southwell, usually pays his way over the winter months.

QATAR ROAD ATR Tracker
(Lingfield, 22 November)
Marco Botti's two-year-old has won at Kempton and Lingfield this autumn, and he might not be finished yet. Making significant late headway into third behind Godolphin duo Four Seasons and Super Kid in this Fast Track Qualifier, Qatar Road continues to show a good attitude.

GOLD PRESENT ATR Tracker
(Ascot, 22 November)
Nicky Henderson likes to target this bumper and whittled his seven entries down to three, with Gold Present the outsider of his trio at 11-1. The son of Presenting showed his inexperience by hanging left under pressure as he tried to challenge stablemate Sugar Baron, but there is plenty of raw material for the master trainer to work on this season.
