Worth Waiting is likely to head to Deauville for the Prix Minerve on Sunday rather than run in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Give Thanks Stakes at Cork on Saturday.
Both are Group Three races and her trainer David Lanigan feels the three-year-old filly deserves a chance in that company, after she took her winning run to three in the Listed Aphrodite Stakes at Newmarket last month.
“I left her in both races. I think we are leaning towards going to France,” said Lanigan.
“She seems to have come out of her race at Newmarket fine. We always felt she was a black-type filly, but she is stepping up to Group Three level.
“We keep stepping her up gradually and see how we get on.”
