Kasperenko is set to revert to handicap company following a Listed success last month before having a well-earned break.
Trainer Brendan Powell has picked out a 14-furlong contest at Chelmsford later this month for the four-year-old, who sprang a 16-1 surprise at Kempton on his latest start after taking in three handicaps.
“He’ll go to Chelmsford on the 20th. There’s a one-mile-six-furlong 0-105 handicap, so that’s the plan,” said Powell.
“He did it well and he seems in good form. He’s improving all the time.
“I might give him a break after this race. He’s been on the go for over a year now.
“I’m not overly worried about the all-weather championships for him.”
