All roads lead to Lingfield on Good Friday for Crossing The Line following her victory at Chelmsford earlier this month.
The Andrew Balding-trained filly made a winning return following a 105-day break to complete a hat-trick and stake her claim for honours in the Fillies & Mares Championship Final in April.
“She won well and is going to have a winter campaign with the aim being Good Friday,” said Bruce Raymond, racing manager for owner Sheikh Juma Dalmook Al Maktoum.
“She tries hard and gets it right. Andrew thought she would win the last day so she must have been working very well.”
The same owner has another lively candidate for Good Friday in the William Haggas-trained Dramatic Queen.
The daughter of Kitten’s Joy went to the head of the ante-post market for the Mararthon Final when winning a Listed contest at Lingfield in early November.
“She stays well and is coming right at the right time,” said Raymond.
“She’s been programmed to go to Lingfield for the All-Weather Championships, like a lot of horses.”
