William Haggas could send Urban Fox to America for her next start with the Beverly D Stakes at Arlington on August 11 a possible option.
The Grade One prize is one of two top level races under consideration for the four-year-old along with the Qatar Nassau Stakes at Goodwood on August 2 following her victory in the Pretty Polly Stakes at the Curragh on Sunday.
Urban Fox was stepping up to 10 furlongs for the first time when landing the Group One contest and Haggas now plans to stick at that longer trip.
He said: “She won well on Sunday. We rode her a bit differently, but she stayed well and loved the ground.
“It never really looked in doubt, she took it up two and half furlongs from home and just kept on going. Obviously I am chuffed as it is her first stakes win.
“If you watch her run at Ascot (in the Duke of Cambridge Stakes over a mile), I thought she was crying out for more ground as she stayed on really well.
“I was a bit disappointed at Ascot as I thought she would nearly win. It just proved she wanted further and now she has won over a mile and a quarter, it shows she wanted it.
“To be fair, (Forever Together) won the Oaks over a mile and a half on soft ground and this was a mile and a quarter on fast ground, so it would have been pretty alien to her.
“I would not read too much into that, but it was nice to claim her scalp.
“We will either go for the Nassau at Goodwood or the Beverly D at Arlington.
“She is in both and will go for one of the two. Then we will see what we do after that.”
